EFEK PAKAN TAMBAHAN SUMBER PROTEIN TERHADAP KONSUMSI DAN KECERNAAN NUTRIEN INDUK KAMBING BLIGON MASA LAKTASI DI DUSUN JATIKUNING, GUNUNG KIDUL YOGYAKARTA

2021 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU DAN INDUSTRI PETERNAKANPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek konsentrat sumber protein terhadap kecernaan nutrien pada kambing Bligon pada masa laktasi. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan induk kambing Bligon masa laktasi dan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, yakni kelompok perlakuan beranak 1 dan perlakuan beranak 2 yang masing-masing terdiri dari 5 ekor. Kelompok tersebut mendapat pakan basal hijauan (kontrol) dan konsentrat sumber protein (perlakuan). Penelitian dibagi menjadi 2 tahap yaitu tahap adaptasi dan tahap koleksi. Tahap adaptasi dilakukan selama 14 hari kemudian dilanjutkan tahap koleksi selama 8 hari. Tahap selanjutnya adalah analisis laboratorium yang dilakukan di Laboratorium Ilmu Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan UGM. Analisis proksimat laboratorium meliputi analisis bahan kering (BK), bahan organik (BO), protein kasar (PK), lemak kasar (LK), serat kasar (SK), bahan ekstrak tanpa nitrogen (BETN) dan total digestible nutrients (TDN). Parameter yang diamati meliputi komposisi kimia pakan konsentrat, komposisi kimia pakan hijauan, konsumsi nutrien dan kecernaan nutrien. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis variansi pengambilan data pemberian pakan, sisa pakan, dan feses, kemudian dianalisa menggunakan uji T-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan suplementasi pakan dapat mempengaruhi konsumsi PK (P<0,05), tetapi belum dapat mempengaruhi konsumsi BK, BO, LK, SK, BETN dan TDN. Kecernaan SK, LK, BETN belum meningkat signifikan dengan suplementasi, namun dapat meningkatkan kecernaan BK, BO, PK, dan TDN secara signifikan (P<0,05).
This study was conducted to determine the effect of protein source concentrates on nutrient digestibility in Bligon does during lactation. The research was carried out using ten does during lactation and divided into 2 groups. Group I (control group) consisted of five does wich had 1 kid of each. Group II (treatment group) consisted of five does wich had 2 kids of each. The groups I received forage basal feed (control) while the group II received protein source concentrate (treatment). The research was divided into 2 stages,the first stage was adaptation while the second stage was collection. The adaptation stage was carried out for 14 days then followed by the collection stage for 8 days. The next stage was laboratory analysis wich carried out at the Animal Food Science Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Proximate analysis included analysis of dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE), crude fiber (CF), nitrogen free extract (NFE) and total digestible nutrients (TDN). The parameters observed included chemical composition of concentrate feed, chemical composition of forage, nutrient consumption and nutrient digestibility. The research data were analyzed for the variance of data collection on feed, leftover feed, and feces, then analyzed using the T-test. The results of the analysis showed that feed supplementation effected significantly (P<0,05) on CP intake, but did not effect the consumption of DM, OM, EE, CF, NFE and TDN. The digestibility of CF, EE, NFE did not increase significantly with supplementation, but it increased significantly (P<0,05) the digestibility of DM, OM, CP, and TDN.
