UBERMENSCH DALAM LIRIK LAGU HIIROO KARYA AMAZARASHI: SEBUAH ANALISIS SEMIOTIK PUISI RIFFATERRE

Lagu Hiiroo dirilis pada tahun 2017 oleh band J-rock Amazarashi. Isi lirik lagu Hiiroo menarasikan kehidupan manusia modern yang serba berkekurangan. Hal ini bertolak belakang dengan konotasi kata hiiroo dalam pop-culture Jepang yang berasal dari konvensi genre superhero dari pop-culture Amerika. Konvensi genre superhero diciptakan berdasarkan konsep Ubermensch oleh filsuf Friedrich Nietzsche. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan makna lirik lagu Hiiroo yang berkaitan dengan konsep Ubermensch tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan teori semiotika Riffaterre. Teori semiotika Riffaterre menyatakan bahwa puisi memiliki sifat ketidaklangsungan makna sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian menggunakan metode semiotika Riffaterre untuk mencari makna. Metode tersebut terdiri dari pembacaan heuristik yakni pembacaan pertama; pembacaan hermeneutik yakni pembacaan retroaktif; pencarian matriks yakni intisari puisi, model yakni ekspansi matriks yang berupa satu kata atau kalimat yang bersifat puitis, varian yakni ekspansi model yang dapat ditemukan dalam badan teks dan hipogram yakni intertekstualisasi teks. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa makna lagu Hiiroo adalah penciptaan Ubermensch individual. Ubermensch adalah konsep manusia unggul gagasan Friedrich Nietzsche. Konsep-konsep Ubermensch yang dapat ditemukan dalam lagu Hiiroo di antara lain adalah peruntuhan tatanan lama yang berupa konvensi superhero dari pop-culture barat. Peruntuhan tersebut diikuti munculnya Nihilisme yang diatasi dengan penciptaan tatanan baru lewat autentisitas yang didasari kreativitas (creativity) dan keberanian (courage). Tatanan baru tersebut adalah redefinisi kata hiiroo menjadi orang-orang yang bertahan hidup dalam dunia modern yang apatis pada kesengsaraan manusia. Lalu Amazarashi juga menunjukkan keinginan untuk mewartakan tatanan baru tersebut untuk melepaskan orang-orang banyak dari tatanan lama dan nihilisme lewat dirilisnya lagu Hiiroo.

The song Hiiroo was released on 2017 by the J-rock band Amazarashi. It narrates the life of an impoverished modern man. It contrasted strongly with the connotation of the word hiiroo in Japanese pop-culture which was sourced from the convention of the superhero genre from America. The conventions of the superhero genre has strong relations with the concept of Ubermensch by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. This study aims to find the significance of the lyrics regarding the concept of Ubermensch. This study will be done using Riffaterrian semiotic theory. This theory propose that poetry tells something indirectly. To find the significance, a text has to be analyzed using the Riffaterrian methodology. This method includes: heuristic reading (first-level reading); hermeneutic reading (retroactive reading); the search for matrix, model and variant; and the search for hypogram or the intertextuality. The result of the study regarding the song Hiiroo shows that the song's significance is the creation of a new individual Ubermensch. Ubermensch is the concept of an overman proposed by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. The concepts of Ubermensch found within the song hiiroo was the deconstruction of the superhero convention as an old belief system. Nihilism was born due to the rejection and followed by the creation of a new belief system through authenticity based on creativity and courage. In Hiiroo this can be found within the redefinition of the word Hiiroo into someone who survives even the modern world where people are apathetic to human suffering. Thirdly, the earthly characteristic of rejecting the afterlife and leading humanity to overcome nihilism by spreading the new system. This final precondition was fulfilled by the release of the song.
