EFEK PENAMBAHAN ALFALFA (Medicago sativa L.) PADA PAKAN ITIK PEDAGING JANTAN TERHADAP NILAI KECERNAAN BAHAN ORGANIK, BAHAN KERING, PROTEIN KASAR DAN SERAT KASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian alfalfa terhadap nilai kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik, protein kasar dan serat kasar pada itik pedaging jantan. Penelitian ini menggunakan 90 ekor DOD dengan 3 perlakuan dan 5 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdiri atas 6 ekor itik. Perlakuan pemberian alfalfa terdiri dari 3 level yakni 0% (kontrol), 3% dan 6% dihitung berdasarkan bahan kering (BK) dan diberikan dalam keadaan segar. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 35 hari. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini yaitu kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik, protein kasar dan serat kasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap pola searah. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan analisis variansi (ANOVA) kemudian apabila data berbeda nyata diuji lanjut dengan Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian alfalfa dengan level 6%, 3% dan 0% (kontrol), berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik, protein kasar dan serat kasar. Pemberian alfalfa dengan level 6% dan 3% menurunkan kecernaan bahan kering, bahan organik, protein kasar dan serat kasar pada itik pedaging jantan. The aimed of this research was to determine the effect of alfalfa in the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and crude fibre of ducks. This research used 90 DOD with 3 treatments and 5 replication. In every replication consisted 6 ducks. The treatments consisted of 0% (control), 3%, and 6% computed based on Dry Matter (DM) and offered in fresh. This research was conducted during 35 days. The variable observed in this research were the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and crude fibre. This research used Completely Randomized Design. The obtained data was analiysis of variance (ANOVA), data found significant different further tested with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Based on result of the research could be concluded that suplementation of alfalfa 6% level, 3% level and 0% (control), were significantly effect (P>0,05) to the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and crude fiber. Addition of alfalfa with 6% and 3% level could reduce digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein and crude fibre. Keywords : Alfalfa, Duck, Digestibility, Crude Fibre
