Peran Psychological Capital, Leader Member Exchange, dan Person Organization Fit terhadap Perilaku Kerja Inovatif Karyawan Startup

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara dengan jumlah startup terbesar di dunia, namun besarnya jumlah startup belum diimbangi dengan tingkat inovasi. Berdasar beberapa penelitian, inovasi merupakan kunci keberhasilan bagi startup. Kurangnya inovasi dapat menyebabkan risiko kematian pada startup. Untuk itu, penting bagi startup untuk meningkatkan perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah psychological capital, leader member exchange dan psychological capital secara bersama-sama berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan startup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran psychological capital, leader member exchange, dan person organization fit terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif karyawan startup. Hanya psychological capital dan leader member exchange yang memiliki peran terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif pada karyawan startup. Sementara person organization fit tidak dapat memprediksi perilaku kerja inovatif. Psychological capital merupakan prediktor yang paling berperan terhadap perilaku kerja inovatif. Selain itu, ada perbedaan perilaku kerja inovatif dari ditinjau dari tingkat pendidikan. Karyawan dengan tingkat pendidikan yang lebih tinggi menunjukkan perilaku kerja yang lebih inovatif.

Indonesia is a country with the biggest number of startup in the world. However, the large number of startups has not been complemented by the level of innovation. According to several studies, innovation is the key to success for startups. Lack of innovation can lead to be over at startup. Thus, it is important for startups to improve innovative work behavior among employees. The hypothesis in this research is psychological capital, leader member exchange and psychological capital jointly contribute to the innovative work behavior of startup employees. This research aims to examine the role of psychological capital, exchange member leader, and person organization fit on the innovative work behavior of startup employees. Only psychological capital and exchange leader members have a role in the innovative work behavior of startup employees. Meanwhile, person organization fit can’t predict innovative work behavior. Psychological capital is the most important predictor of innovative work behavior. In addition, there is difference of innovative work behavior in terms of education level. Employees with a higher level of education show more innovative work behavior.
