Perencanaan dan Implementasi Instalasi Pemanen Air Hujan untuk Pengurang Debit Banjir di Kecamatan Tegalrejo

Kecamatan Tegalrejo merupakan wilayah administrasi yang berada di Kota Yogyakarta. Di wilayah perkotaan yang padat penduduk tersebut, sering terjadi permasalahan - permasalahan seperti banjir. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penanganan debit air yang masih menggunakan metode drainase konvensional yaitu mengalirkan air begitu saja ke sungai sehingga sungai meluap karena air yang diterima melebihi kapasitas. Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan alat pemanen air hujan kepada masyarakat Kecamatan Tegalrejo dalam hal penanganan masalah banjir sekaligus pemanfaatan air hujan untuk kebutuhan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sistem memanen air hujan dengan alat pemanen air hujan dapat membantu mengatasi permasalahan banjir yang ada di Kecamatan Tegalrejo.

Tegalrejo District is an administrative area located in Yogyakarta. In these densely populated urban areas, the problems such as flood often occur. This is due to the handling of water discharge which still uses conventional drainage methods, which is flowing the water into the river so that the river overflows because the water received exceeds its capacity. This final project aims to introduce rainwater harvesting tools to the society of Tegalrejo District in terms of handling flood problems as well as utilizing rainwater for their daily needs. The methods used in this final paper are qualitative and quantitative methods. The results showed that the rainwater harvesting system with rainwater harvesting equipment could help overcome the flood problems in Tegalrejo District.
