PRODUKSI DAN KOMPOSISI SUSU SAPI PERAH LAKTASI YANG DIBERI SUPLEMENTASI RUMEN UNDEGRADED PROTEIN PADA MUSIM KEMARAU DI KELOMPOK TERNAK NGUDI MAKMUR II, CANGKRINGAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh produksi dan komposisi susu sapi perah laktasi pada musim kemarau dengan pemberian rumen undegraded protein di peternakan rakyat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelompok ternak Ngudi Makmur II, Kepuharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Analisis sampel dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Ilmu Ternak Perah dan Industri Persusuan, Fakultas Peternakan, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Penelitian ini menggunakan 10 ekor sapi perah laktasi ke laktasi ke-1 sampai 3 dengan nilai Body Condition Score (BCS) 2,75 sampai 3,25 pada umur 3 sampai 6 tahun. Pakan yang diberikan pada sapi yaitu hijauan dan konsentrat dengan proporsi 47:53, serta suplementasi rumen undegraded protein sebanyak 60 gr/L produksi susu/hari. Air minum diberikan secara ad libitum. Variabel yang diamati adalah komposisi nutrien, konsumsi bahan kering (BO), bahan organik (BK), protein kasar (PK), serat kasar (SK), lemak kasar (LK), dan total digestible nutrient (TDN)�¬, produksi susu, komposisi susu, (lemak, protein, laktosa, solid non fat, dan total solid). Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Selanjutnya data konsumsi BK dengan produksi susu, konsumsi PK dengan kadar protein susu dan produksi protein susu dilakukan analisis korelasi dan regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsumsi BK 16,15�±1,51 kg BK/ekor/hari, BO 13,79�±1,31 kg BK/ekor/hari, PK 2,21�±0,11 kg BK/ekor/hari, SK 3,27�±0,58 kg BK/ekor/hari dan TDN 3,27�±0,58 kg BK/ekor/hari. Data rata-rata produksi susu 17,43�±0,47 kg/ekor/hari, kadar protein 3,14�±0,09%, dan produksi protein susu 0,53�±0,02 kg/ekor/hari. Konsumsi BK mempunyai korelasi positif terhadap produksi susu dengan derajat hubungan korelasi sedang. Konsumsi PK mempunyai korelasi positif terhadap kadar protein susu dan produksi protein susu. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian suplementasi rumen undegraded protein pada musim kemarau di Kelompok Ternak Ngudi Makmur II Cangkringan memenuhi kebutuhan dan memberikan neraca positif pada BK total sebesar 1,67 kg BK/ekor/hari, PK sebesar 0,46 kg BK/ekor/hari, SK sebesar 0,81 kg BK/ekor/hari, TDN sebesar 0,28 kg BK/ekor/hari.

This study aims to determine the effect of milk lactation milk production and composition in the dry season by provided rumen undegraded protein on smallholders. This research was implemented in Ngudi Makmur II smallholders group, Kepuharjo, Cangkringan, Sleman, Yogyakarta. Sample analysis was conducted at the Dairy Science and Milk Industry Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Universitas Gadjah Mada. This study used 10 lactation dairy cows in mid-lactation period with Body Condition Score (BCS) of 2.75 to 3.25 at the age of 3rd to 6th years. Diets were forages and concentrates ratio 47:53 DM basis with supplementation of rumen undegraded protein of 60 gr/L milk production/day. Water was provided by ad libitum. Variables observed were the composition of nutrients, consumption of nutrients dry matter (DM), organic matter (OM), crude protein (CP), crude fiber (CF), ether extract (EE), and total digestible nutrient (TDN), milk production, milk composition, (fat, protein, lactose, solid non-fat, and total solid). The collected data analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Furthermore, the data of dry matter intake (DMI) with milk production, crude protein intake (CPI) with milk protein content and milk protein production conducted for correlation and regression analysis method. The results showed consumption of DM 16.15�±1.51 kg DM/head/day, OM 13.79�±1.31 kg DM/head/day, CP 2.21�±0.11 kg DM/head/day, CF 3.27�±0.58 kg DM/head/day and TDN 3.27�±0.58 kg DM/head/day. The average data for milk production is 17.43�±0.47 kg/head/day, protein content is 3.14�±0.09%, and milk protein production is 0.53�±0.02 kg/head/day. DMI has positive correlation with milk production in medium degree of correlation. CP intake has positive correlation with milk protein content and milk protein production. The results of this study conclude the provision of rumen undegraded protein in Ngudi Makmur II Smallholders Group at Cangkringan in dry season provide a positive balance on the total DM of 1.67 kg DM/head/day, CP of 0.46 kg DM/head/day, CF of 0.81 kg DM/head/day, TDN of 0.28 kg DM/head/day.
