PEMBUATAN THERMOMETER SCAN DENGAN SENSOR SUHU CONTACTLESS MLX90614 BERBASIS ARDUINO UNO

Penyebaran virus Covid-19 memberikan dampak untuk beberapa negara salah satunya di Indonesia. Upaya pemerintah saat ini yaitu mengambil beberapa kebijakan, salah satunya untuk tetap melaksanakan aktivitas dengan memperhatikan protokol kesehatan yang telah ditetapkan oleh WHO (World Health Organization). Protokol kesehatan meliputi mencuci tangan, menggunakan masker jika berpergian, membawa hand sanitizer, dan memeriksa suhu tubuh masing-masing saat memasuki area yang ramai dikunjungi menggunakan thermometer yang dioperasikan oleh man power. Namun, pengecekan suhu tersebut mempunyai kelemahan, yaitu rawannya penularan virus Covid-19 antara man power dengan pengunjung atau sebaliknya. Karena berinteraksi secara langsung dengan jarak yang dekat. Oleh karena itu, penulis membuat alat thermometer scan yang dapat digunakan secara automatis menggunakan Arduino Uno sebagai mikrokontroler. Pembuatan alat thermometer scan menggunakan Sensor Suhu Contactless MLX90614 dan Arduino Uno, yang telah diprogram menggunakan software Arduino IDE. Program dibuat agar sistem dapat bekerja secara automatis. Sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04 juga ditambahkan ke dalam sistem untuk mendeteksi adanya objek pada jarak 5 cm-10 cm, lalu mengirimkan sinyal kepada sensor suhu untuk mengukur suhu objek. Dari hasil pembuatan thermometer scan menggunakan Sensor Suhu Contactless MLX90614 berbasis Arduino Uno dapat disimpulkan bahwa alat berhasil dibuat dan dapat mendeteksi objek serta mengukur suhu pada jarak 5 cm-10 cm secara automatis. Sensor suhu dan sensor jarak dapat bekerja sesuai program dan hasil pengukuran suhu ditampilan pada layar LCD untuk memudahkan pengguna membaca hasilnya.

The spread of Coronaviruses has affected several countries, one of them is Indonesia. Several policies have been made by the government to deal with the pandemic, one of these policies is doing activities with due observance of the health protocols set/established by WHO (World Health Organization). Health protocol includes washing hands with soap or hand sanitizer, wearing a mask, and checking body temperature with a thermometer before entering someplace. Checking body temperature is performed by manpower. However, it has a weakness, the susceptibility of virus transmission between manpower and other people because of the interaction between manpower and other people is very close. That is why a thermometer scan tool that can be used automatically based on Arduino Uno as a microcontroller needs to be made. Manufacturing of this product uses contactless temperature sensor MLX90614 and Arduino Uno, programed by Arduino IDE. The program makes all systems can work automatically. Ultrasonic Sensor HC-SR04 also added to the system for detecting the existence of an object in ranges 5 cm-10 cm, then Arduino processing data and also deliver the signal to the temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of an object. The result show that the tool was successfully manufactured. The tool is working properly to detect objects and automatically scan them with a distance of 5 cm-10 cm. Temperature sensors and distance sensors can work following the program and the result of temperature measurement are displayed on the LCD screen to make it easier for users to read the results.
