PENINGKATAN PEMAHAMAN SAFETY TRAINING KARYAWAN PERUSAHAAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE VIDEO TRAINING DI PT GARUDAFOOD PUTRA PUTRI JAYA TBK GRESIK, JAWA TIMUR

Pelaksanaan magang dilakukan selama 3 bulan di bagian HSE Officer dari tanggal 6 Januari 2020 hingga 31 Maret 2020 di PT GPPJ Tbk, Gresik, Jawa Timur. Perusahaan ini adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang Food and Beverages dimana perusahaan unit Gresik ini mengelola di bidang biskuit. Perusahaan ini memproduksi Gery Malkist Crackers dengan kapasitas produksi sebesar 5,24 ton. Melalui besarnya kapasitas produksi tersebut maka potensi terjadinya kecelakaan kerja besar. Oleh karena itu, tingkat pemahaman karyawan dalam kegiatan safety training yang diadakan perusahaan sangatlah penting. Permasalahan yang ditemukan di lapangan adalah masih banyaknya karyawan yang kurang memahami arti dari safety dan belum menerapkan safety sebaik mungkin. Hal ini diakibatkan banyaknya peserta pada kegiatan safety training secara konvensional sehingga penyampaian isi materi tidak bisa tersampaikan dengan baik kepada karyawan sehingga peneliti membuat video training. Pengujian ini berguna untuk membandingkan tingkat pemahaman karyawan terhadap isi safety training melalui konvensional training dengan video training menggunakan metode Paired Sample Test. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah rata-rata dari hasil post test training konvensional sebesar 59,67 sedangkan post test training video sebesar 87 dimana standar kelulusan yaitu 60. Nilai dari uji beda ini juga menandakan adanya perbedaan hasil yang cukup signifikan dan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dengan adanya video training.

The internship was carried out for 3 months in the HSE Officer section from 6 January 2020 to 31 March 2020 at PT GPPJ Tbk, Gresik, East Java. This company is a company engaged in Food and Beverages where the Gresik unit company manages in the biscuit field. The company produces Gery Malkist Crackers with a production capacity of 5.24 tons. Through this large production capacity, the potential for large work accidents. Therefore, the level of understanding of employees in safety training activities held by the company is very important. The problem found in the field is that there are still many employees who do not understand the meaning of safety and have not implemented safety as well as possible. This is due to the large number of participants in conventional safety training activities so that the delivery of material content cannot be conveyed properly to employees so researchers make training videos. This test is useful to compare the level of employee understanding of the contents of safety training through conventional training with video training using the Paired Sample Test method. The results obtained are the average of the results of the conventional post test training of 59.67 while the post test training videos of 87 where the graduation standard is 60. The value of this difference test also indicates a significant difference in results and an increase in understanding with the video training.
