THE PROCESS OF CONTENT WRITING IN THE WEBSITE OF DOMAINESIA

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengenalan studi, profil DomaiNesia, topik konten, pentingnya konten, dan proses penulisan konten di website DomaiNesia. Penulis melakukan studi lapangan dan studi pustaka sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Studi lapangan termasuk observasi dan interview selama magang yang telah dilakukan penulis mulai dari 06 Januari 2020 sampai 06 April 2020. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisa menggunakan metode kualitatif dan disajikan secara deskriptif dalam Bahasa Inggris. Berdasarkan penelitian, DomaiNesia merupakan perusahaan startup yang menyediakan layanan domain dan web hosting. DomaiNesia menggunakan konten untuk menjangkau pelanggan melalui internet. Salah satu konten yang rutin dipublikasikan DomaiNesia adalah artikel yang ada di website. Proses penulisan artikel di website DomaiNesia terbagi menjadi tiga bagian, yaitu pra-proses, proses utama, dan pasca-proses. Untuk pra-proses, proses meliputi persiapan perlengkapan, mencari topik, brainstorming, dan membuat draft. Untuk proses utama, prosesnya adalah mengembangkan draft yang sudah dibuat menjadi satu artikel penuh, mulai dari judul hingga kesimpulan. Sedangkan untuk pasca-proses, proses meliputi menambahkan gambar ilustrasi dan mengirimkan artikel ke editor. Jika artikel yang sudah dibuat layak untuk dipublikasikan, maka artikel akan tampil di website dan dapat ditemukan oleh pengguna internet dengan kata kunci yang tepat.

This final paper aims to discuss the introduction of the sturdy, the profile of DomaiNesia, the topics of article contents in DomaiNesia, the importance of content, and the process of content writing in the website of DomaiNesia. The writer conducted field study and library study as methods of collecting the data. The field study includes observation and interview during the internship that the writer did from January 06th to April 06th, 2020. The collected data were analyzed using a qualitative method and presented descriptively in English. Based on the research, DomaiNesia is a startup company which provides domain and web hosting services. DomaiNesia uses the content to engage the customers through the internet. One of the contents that is routinely published is article content in the website of DomaiNesia. The process of writing an article in the website of DomaiNesia is divided into three parts, which are pre-process, main-process, and post-process. The pre-process includes preparing the tools, searching the topic, brainstorming, and making the draft. The main-process, includes developing the draft into the whole article, from the title to the conclusion. The steps in post-process are putting illustration photos and sending the article to the editor. If the article is worth to publish, the article will appear on the website and can be found by the internet users with the right keyword.
