Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung besarnya nilai EVA pada sektor pertambangan batu bara dan mengetahui rating EVA perusahaan pertambangan batu bara yang terdafar di BEI. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 5 perusahaan pertambangan batu bara yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2015 sampai dengan 2019. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kelima perusahaan pertambangan batu bara tidak selalu menciptakan EVA positif yang menunjukkan hasil kinerja keuangan perusahaan kurang baik. Selama empat tahun terakhir PT Bumi Resources Tbk berada di posisi pertama dengan nilai EVA positif menujukkan perusahaan mampu memenuhi harapan investor.

This study aims to calculate the value of EVA in the coal mining sector and to determine the EVA rating of coal mining companies listed on the IDX. The sample used in this study were 5 coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. The results of this study indicate that the five coal mining companies do not always create positive EVA which shows that the company's financial performance is not good. During the last four years PT Bumi Resources Tbk has been in the first position with a positive EVA value showing the company is able to meet investors' expectations.
