ESTIMASI DINAMIKA POPULASI DAN PETA POPULASI SAPI POTONG DI KECAMATAN KASIHAN KABUPATEN BANTUL DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika dan peta populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Kasihan Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2020 hingga Februari 2020. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode sensus yang dilakukan di tiga desa yaitu Desa Bangunjiwo, Desa Tamantirto, dan Desa Tirtonirmolo untuk memperoleh data primer dengan total responden 841 orang dan total populasi 1474 ekor. Data sekunder (5 tahun terakhir) diperoleh dari Dinas Pertanian, Pangan, dan Perikanan Kabupaten Bantul. Estimasi populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Kasihan menggunakan metode analisis time series dan analisis kenaikan rata-rata. Populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Kasihan pada tahun 2015 sampai 2019 mengalami penurunan rata-rata 7,44% per tahun. Estimasi populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Kasihan tahun 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, dan 2024 menggunakan metode analisis time series mengalami penurunan yaitu 1577, 1422, 1267, 1111, dan 956 ekor. Estimasi populasi sapi potong tahun 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, dan 2024 menggunakan metode kenaikan rata-rata juga mengalami penurunan yaitu 1421, 1315, 1217, 1126, dan 1042 ekor. Komposisi sapi potong di Kecamatan Kasihan terdiri dari sapi SIMPO 41,66%, sapi LIMPO 31,41%, dan sapi PO 26,93%. Peta populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Kasihan terdiri dari dewasa 69,74% (jantan 18,11% dan betina 51,63%), muda 8,89% (jantan 3,60% dan betina 5,29%), dan pedet 21,37% (jantan 11,26% dan betina 10,11%). This research was aimed to determine the population dynamics and population map of beef cattle in the Kasihan District, Bantul Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research was conducted in January 2020 until February 2020. It was done by census methods in three villages namely Bangunjiwo, Tamantirto, and Tirtonirmolo villages to obtain primary data with a total of 841 respondents and a total population of 1474 heads of beef cattle. The secondary data (in the last 5 years) were obtained from Bantul Regency Department of Agriculture, Food, and Fisheries. The estimation of the beef cattle population in Kasihan District used the average increase analysis method and time series analysis. Beef cattle population in Kasihan District from 2015 to 2019 decreased by 7.44% per year. The estimation of beef cattle population in Kasihan District in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 which used the time series analysis were decreased by 1577, 1422, 1267, 1111, and 956 heads. The estimation of beef cattle population in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 which used the average increase method also decreased by 1421, 1315, 1217, 1126, and 1042 heads. The composition of beef cattle in the Kasihan District consisted of SIMPO cattle 41.66%, LIMPO 31.41%, and PO 26.93%. Beef cattle population map in Kasihan District consisted of cattle 69.74% (18.11% bulls and 51.63% cows), 8.89% yearling (3.60% male and 5.29% female), and calves 21.37% (11.26% male and 1011% female).
