Analisis Penyebab Kerusakan Transmisi Dump Truck Komatsu HD 465-7R

Dump truck merupakan salah satu jenis alat berat yang digunakan untuk memindahkan material maupun mengangkut material pada jarak lebih dari 5.000 meter. Adapun material yang diangkut oleh dump truck adalah material alam seperti tanah, batu, kerikil, batubara pasir, batu split, dan lain sebagainya. Dump truck dalam pekerjaannya dibantu oleh alat berat lain seperti excavator dan loader untuk memuat atau menaruh material ke dalam bak dump truck. Kecepatan, torsi, serta arah agar dapat bergerak maju mundur pada dump truck diatur oleh komponen transmisi. Pengunaan alat berat yang terus – menerus tidak menutup kemungkinan untuk terjadinya kerusakan pada alat berat tersebut termasuk kerusakan pada sistem transmisi. Kerusakan dapat diakibatkan oleh faktor internal maupun eksternal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab terjadinya kerusakan transmisi pada dump truck menggunakan metode inspeksi visual dan analisis data overhaul, analisis data vehicle health monitoring system, analisis pelumas, serta analisis data riwayat perbaikan unit. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan transmisi disebabkan oleh keausan pada disc dan plate pada low clutch dan fourth clutch sehingga mengakibatkan muncul kode error 15J0MW (low clutch slip). Dump truck is one type of heavy equipment used to move materials or transport materials at a distance of more than 5,000 meters. Materials transported by dump trucks such as sand, stone, gravel, coal, broken stone, and so on. dump trucks in their work are assisted by other heavy equipment such as excavators and loaders to put the materials to the dump. Speed, torque, and direction to move forward or reverse on dump trucks that are governed by the transmission component. Continuous use of heavy equipment is removed to eliminate failure to this unit including failure on the transmission system. The failure can be caused by internal and external factors. The purpose of this study is to determine the results of research about the main cause of transmission failure in dump trucks using visual inspection, analysis of vehicle health monitoring systems, lubricant analysis, and result overhaul of the transmission. The results of the analysis show the cause of wear and tear on the disk and plate on the low coupling and the fourth clutch causes an error code 15J0MW (low clutch slip).
