ANALISIS PENGARUH TERORISME TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DI INDONESIA

Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang marak dengan aksi terorisme. Aksi terorisme ini mengakibatkan kerugian yang besar dan berpotensi besar menghambat pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalis pengaruh terorisme terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia menggunakan alat analisis Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Bound Testing dan Autoregressive Distributed Lag-Error Correction Model (ARDL-ECM) tahun 1977-2017. Model ARDL digunakan untuk melihat hubungan jangka panjang dan ARDL-ECM digunakan untuk menentukan dampak terorisme terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi dalam jangka pendek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, (1) terorisme berdampak negatif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia, baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang dan (2) terorisme, investasi, populasi, keterbukaan, dan modal manusia secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia.

Indonesia is a country that is rife with acts of terrorism. These acts of terrorism have resulted in large losses and have the potential to seriously hamper Indonesia's economic growth. This study aims to analyze the effect of terrorism on Indonesia's economic growth using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) Bound Testing and Autoregressive Distributed Lag-Error Correction Model (ARDL-ECM) analysis tools in 1977-2017. The ARDL model is used to look at long-term relationships and ARDL-ECM is used to determine the impact of terrorism on economic growth in the short term. The results showed that, (1) terrorism has a negative and significant impact on Indonesia's economic growth, both in the short and long term and (2) terrorism, investment, population, openness, and human capital simultaneously affected economic growth in Indonesia.
