PERBANDINGAN PENGARUH EDUKASI KUSTA ANTARA PENGGUNAAN METODE BLENDED LEARNING DAN SELF SELF DIRECTED LEARNING TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP KADER KESEHATAN DALAM PENGELOLAAN KUSTA DI KABUPATEN CILACAP

Terdapat hambatan pengelolaan kusta di lapangan yaitu belum adanya tim pengelola kusta, edukasi kusta yang belum masif terhadap kader kesehatan, serta kurangnya pemberdayaan kader dalam pengelolaan kusta. Sehingga perlu adanya pemberdayaan kader dalam pengelolaan kusta dengan cara edukasi kesehatan, yaitu blended learning dan self-directed learning. Tujuan : Mengetahuai perbandingan pengaruh metode edukasi BL dan SDL terhadap penegtahuan dan sikap kader kesehatan dalam pengelolaan penyakit kusta Metode : quasy experimentas comparative study dua kelompok pre-test dan post-tes dilakukan pada 69 kader dari wilayah kerja Puskesmas Wanareja I dan Majenang II. Hasi: Terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p<0,001) pada rerata peningkatan skor pengetahuan pada kelompok BL dan SDL. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna (p=0,008_ npada rerata skor sikap kelompok BL dan SDL. Pengaruh edukasi metode BL dibandingkan dengan SDL memiliki efek yang kuat terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan (d=1,03) dan efek sedang terhadap peningkatan sikap (d=0,66). Peningkatan pengetahuan berhubungan dengan peningkatan sikap pada kedua kelompok (r=0,463; p=0,00)
Background: Cilacap regency as one of are with high leprosy incidences (1,6). Several problems in management of leprosy such as there is no program for active case finding, there is still negative attitude towards leprosy patients from the community, the absence of team for leprosy management, lack of leprosy education and empowerment of health cadres. To overcome the problems, it required a reachable educational program for health cadres. Blended learning and self-directed learning are methodes than can be used as heallth education. Objective: to compare the difference in the effect of blended learning and self directed learning on the knowledge and attitude of health cadres in the management of leprosy Methode: quasy-experimental comparative with two group pretest and post test to 69 health cadres in working area of Puskesmas Wanareja I and Majenang II. Result: There was a significant difference in the mean increase in knowledge scores (p<0,001)between the BL group and SDL group. There was a significant difference (p=0,008) in the mean score for attitude of BL group and SDL group. The effect of BL education method compared to SDL has greater on increasing knowledge (d=1,03) and moderate effect on improving attitudes (d=0,66). Both group have correlation on increasing knowledge to improving the attitude of health cadres regarding leprosy management (r=0,463; p=0,00)
