Kinerja Induk Kambing Peranakan Etawah dan Bligon Masa Laktasi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja induk kambing Peranakan Etawah dan Bligon masa laktasi. Penelitian menggunakan 14 ekor induk kambing yang terdiri dari 7 ekor kambing Peranakan Etawah dan 7 ekor kambing Bligon. Parameter yang diamati adalah litter size, bobot lahir, mortalitas prasapih, konsumsi susu, perubahan bobot badan harian induk, body condition score, bobot sapih, post partum estrus, post partum mating, konsumsi BK, konsumsi PK, dan konsumsi TDN. Data dianalisis menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap pola searah (one way ANOVA). Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa konsumsi BK/BB0,75 post partum estrus dan post partum mating induk kambing Bligon berbeda nyata (P<0,05) dengan induk kambing PE, dengan rerata 86,14+-4,97 vs 76,32+-9,06 g/kg BB0,75, 83,28+-9,65 vs 93,71+-7,69 hari, dan 101,57+-9,55 vs 112,42+-7,32 hari, sedangkan litter size, bobot lahir mortalitas prasapih, konsumsi susu, perubahan bobot badan harian, body condition score, konsumsi BK, konsumsi PK, dan konsumsi TDN induk kambing PE dan Bligon tidak berbeda nyata. Rerata litter size, bobot lahir, mortalitas prasapih, konsumsi susu, perubahan bobot badan harian induk, body condition score, bobot sapih, konsumsi pakan, BK, PK, dan TDN induk kambing PE dan Bligon berturut-turut adalah 1,14+-0,37 dan 1,00+-0,00 ekor/kelahiran, 3,15+-0,70 dan 2,97+-0,35 kg, 25,00 dan 0,00 % kematian, 0,60+-0,07 dan 0,57+-0,08 kg/hari, -47,14+-33,24 dan -33,65+-44,94, 2,46+-0,58 dan 2,71+-0,22, 9,64+-1,68 dan 9,77+-2,43 kg, 2,17+-036 dan 2,00+-0,40 kg/ekor/hari, 1,02+-0,11 dan 1,05+-0,15 kg/ekor/hari, 0,17+-0,01 dan 0,17+-0,02 kg/ekor/hari, 0,62+-0,06 dan 0,64+-0,09 kg/ekor/hari. Disimpulkan bahwa konsumsi BK/BB0,75, post partum estrus dan post partum mating kambing Bligon lebih baik daripada kambing PE, tetapi kedua bangsa kambing tersebut memiliki kinerja induk yang relatif sama

This research was conducted to observe the performance of Etawah Grade and Bligon does during lactation period. This study used 14 goats consisting of 7 Etawah Grade and 7 Bligon does. The parameters observed were litter size, birth weight, pre weaning mortality, milk consumption, body weight change, body condition score (BCS), weaning weight, post partum estrus, post partum mating, dry matter, crude protein, and total digestible nutrients intakes. Data were analyzed using completely randomized design. The statistical analysis indicated that DM intake/W0,75, post partum estrus and post partum mating of Bligon was better than those of Etawah doe (P<0.05), while litter size, birth weight, pre-weaning mortality, milk consumption, body weight daily gain doe, body condition score, fresh feed intake, dry matter intake, crude protein intake, and total digestible nutrients intake of Etawah Grade and Bligon goats were not significantly differs. The average DM intake/W0,75, post partum estrus and post partum mating of Etawah Grade and Bligon does were 86,14+-4,97 vs 76,32+-9,06 g/Kg W0,75, 93.71+-7.69 vs 83.28+-9.65 days and 112.42+-7.32 vs 101.57+-9.55 days, respectively, while average litter size, birth weight, pre-weaning mortality, milk consumption, body weight change doe, body condition score, weaning weight, post partum estrus, post partum mating, fresh feed intake, dry matter intake, crude protein intake, and total digestible nutrients intake of Etawah Grade goat and Bligon goat were 1.14+-0.37 and 1.00+-0.00 kid/birth; 3.15+-0.70 and 2.97+-0.35 kgs; 25.00 and 0.00 % mortality; 0.60+-0.07 and 0.57+-0.08 (kg/head/day); -47.14+-33.24 and -33.65+-44.94 (gram/head/day); 2.46+-0.58 and 2.71+-0.22; 9.64+-1.68 and 9.77+-2.43 kgs; 2.17+-0.36 and 2.00+-0.40 (kg/head/day); 1.02+-0.11 and 1.05+-0.15 kg/head/day; 0.17+-0.01 and 0.17+-0.02 (kg/head/day); 0.62+-0.06 and 0.64+-0.09 kg/head/day, respectively. It is concluded that the DM intake/W0,75, post partum estrus and post partum mating of Bligon doe is better than Etawah Grade, however both of goat breeds have relatively a similar performance.
