Pemetaan Perubahan Nama Geografi Unsur Administrasi di Kabupaten Pati serta Visualisasinya menggunakan Story Maps

Perubahan nama geografi unsur administrasi pada suatu peta dalam kurun waktu tertentu dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif sebagai alat komunikasi, yaitu kesalahan penafsiran pada pembaca peta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) memetakan perubahan nama geografi buatan unsur administrasi di Kabupaten Pati tahun 1915 dan tahun 2017, (2) menganalisis jenis perubahan nama geografi buatan unsur administrasi di Kabupaten Pati tahun 1915 dan tahun 2017, dan (3) melakukan geovisualisasi hasil pemetaan perubahan nama geografi buatan unsur administrasi di Kabupaten Pati tahun 1915 dan tahun 2017 menggunakan Story Maps. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kabupaten Pati yang terdiri dari 21 Kecamatan, 401 Desa, dan 5 Kelurahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui survey lapangan, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) pemetaan perubahan nama geografi unsur administrasi di Kabupaten Pati tahun 1915 dan tahun 2017 yang terdiri dari 21 kecamatan, 401 desa, dan 5 kelurahan yang diidentifikasi menggunakan peta topografi tahun 1915 dan peta RBI tahun 2017 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 30 penambahan wilayah administrasi desa, 3 penambahan wilayah administrasi kelurahan, dan 1 penambahan wilayah administrasi kecamatan dengan sisanya sejumlah 393 nama geografi unsur administrasi yang tidak mengalami status perubahan, (2) nama geografi unsur administrasi di Kabupaten Pati mengalami 3 jenis perubahan yang terjadi pada penulisan ejaan sejumlah 160 nama, penulisan bahasa sejumlah 31 nama, penulisan nama sejumlah 104 nama, dan nama geografi unsur administrasi yang tidak mengalami perubahan sejumlah 132 nama serta penamaan nama geografi unsur administrasi di Kabupaten Pati tersebut berhubungan dengan sejarah atau asal usul setempat yang terjadi di masa lalu, (3) geovisualisasi peta perubahan nama geografi unsur administrasi Kabupaten Pati tahun 1915 dan tahun 2017 menggunakan Story Maps menyajikan informasi nama geografi unsur administrasi, profil, dan sejarah yang ada di Kabupaten Pati dengan tampilan peta, gambar, audio, video, dan deskripsi menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif sehingga dapat memudahkan diseminasi kepada masyarakat luas melalui 101 responden yang menilai bahwa geovisualisasi ini memiliki segi tampilan yang sangat menarik, akses yang mudah, keseluruhan isi konten yang informatif, informasi yang detail, dan mudah dimengerti sehingga masyarakat dapat memanfaatkan informasi tersebut, memberikan edukasi dan wawasan tentang nama geografi unsur administrasi tersebut.

Changes in the geography names of administrative elements on a map within a certain period of time could have a negative impact as a means of communication, namely misinterpretation by the map readers. The study attempted to: (1) mapping of changes in the artificial geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency in 1915 and 2017, (2) analyze the types of changes in the artificial geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency in 1915 and 2017, and (3) geovisualize the results of analysis changes in the artificial geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency in 1915 and 2017 using Story Maps. This study took place in Pati Regency which consists of 21 districts, 401 villages, and 5 sub-districts. A qualitative descriptive method was applied through field surveys, a sequence of interviews, and library research. This study concludes that: (1) mapping of changes in the geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency in 1915 and 2017 which consists of 21 districts, 401 villages, and 5 sub-districts identified using topographic map in 1915 and topographical map of Indonesia in 2017 showing that there were 30 additional villages administrative areas, 3 additional sub-districts administrative areas, and 1 additional district administrative areas with the remaining 393 geography names of administrative elements that did not change of status, (2) the geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency experienced 3 kinds of changes that occurred in the writing of spelling are 160 names, the writing of language are 31 names, the writing of name are 104 names, and the geography names of administrative elements that did not change are 132 names and geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency were related to history or local origins that occurred in the past, (3) geovisualization a map of changes in the geography names of administrative elements in Pati Regency in 1915 and 2017 using Story Maps provides information on the geography names of administrative elements, profiles, and history in Pati Regency with the display of maps, images, audios, videos, and descriptions to be more interesting and interactive which can make dissemination easier for wider community through 101 respondents who think that this geovisualization has a very attractive appearance, easy access, the entire content of the content is informative, detailed information, and easy to understand so that the public can take advantage of the information, provide education and insight about the geography names of the administrative elements.
