Budidaya Lele Dumbo (Clarias sp.) Selama Masa Pandemi COVID-19 Di Kabupaten Mojokerto, Jawa Timur

Pandemi COVID-19 telah berhasil melemahkan sejumlah sektor usaha di dunia, tak terkecuali pada sektor perikanan budidaya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kondisi budidaya lele pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di Kabupaten Mojokerto, Jawa Timur. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Mojokerto pada bulan Mei-Juni 2020. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survey secara online melalui kuesioner menggunakan google form dan wawancara melalui personal chatting dengan melibatkan responden sebanyak 100 pembudidaya lele. Analisis data secara deskriptif dan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon untuk pengujian hipotesisnya. Pandemi COVID-19 menyebabkan penurunan terhadap jumlah produksi lele di Kabupaten Mojokerto sebesar 16% dengan jumlah ketersediaan pakan juga terjadi penurunan sebesar 12%. Pandemi COVID-19 juga menyebabkan perubahan aktivitas budidaya lele seperti penurunan jumlah kolam yang digunakan untuk produksi sebesar 17%, penurunan pendapatan untuk skala mikro sebesar 22% dan skala kecil sebesar 13%, penurunan harga benih dan kenaikan harga pakan, serta permintaan hasil produksi.
The COVID-19 pandemic is a serious problem for almost all countries in the world, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic has succeeded in weakening some of the world's businesses, including the aquaculture sector. The purpose of this study was to learn about the conditions of catfish cultivation during the COVID-19 pandemic in Mojokerto regency. The study was conducted in Mojokerto regency in May-June 2020. The method employed was an online survey using google form and a personalized chat involving 100 respondents of catfish growout farmers. The data was analysed descriptively and by using the Wilcoxon test for testing its hypothesis. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a decline in the number of catfish produced in Mojokerto regency by 16% and the amount of feed availability decreased by 12%. The COVID-19 pandemic also causes changes in catfish cultivation activity such as decrease in the number of operated pond by 17%, the decrease in fish farmers income on a micro scale of 22% and a small scale of 13%, the decreased seed prices and increased feed prices, and demand for production.
