PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENDETEKSIAN DAN PENGIRIMAN ALARM BGP ROUTE LEAK MENGGUNAKAN OPENBMP DI PT APLIKANUSA LINTASARTA

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) merupakan protokol yang membuat internet bekerja. Berbagai jaringan atau autonomous system yang membutuhkan interaksi satu sama lain melakukannya melalui peering, yang dapat diwujudkan dengan BGP. Berbagai serangan maupun misconfiguration pada BGP dapat menyebabkan route leak dimana terjadi lonjakan update prefiks yang dikirimkan pelanggan menuju Internet Service Provider (ISP) sehingga menyebabkan layanan internet menjadi unreachable. Diperlukan skema pendeteksian secara online yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi potensi route leak pada AS path. BGP Monitoring Protocol (BMP) dapat digunakan untuk melakukan monitoring berbagai prefiks pelanggan. BMP akan dihubungkan dengan collector bernama Open BGP Monitoring Protocol (OpenBMP). Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan sistem untuk mendeteksi potensi BGP route leak memanfaatkan openBMP collector dan mengirimkan alarm notifikasi ketika terdapat lonjakan update prefiks yang dikirimkan pelanggan menuju ke Internet Service Provider (ISP) dengan studi kasus pada jaringan BGP milik PT. Aplikanusa Lintasarta TB Simatupang.

Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) is a protocol that make internet works. Many networks or autonomous system that needs each other interaction do it through peering, that can be made using BGP. Either attacks or misconfiguration in BGP can cause route leak where there are highly increased prefix updates sent by client to Internet Service Provider. It needs online detection scheme that can be used for route leak detection on AS path. BGP Monitoring Protocol (BMP) can be used to monitor various consumer�s prefixes. BMP will be connected with collector called Open BGP Monitoring Protocol (OpenBMP). In this research, system will be designed to detect BGP route leak potential using openBMP collector and send the alerts when there are highly increased prefix updates sent by client to Internet Service Provider (ISP) which the case study on this research using the BGP network of PT Aplikanusa Lintasarta TB Simatupang.
