KONFIGURASI OTOMATIS PENGENDALI NIRKABEL PADA RUMAH PINTAR DENGAN PENDEKATAN CONTEXT-AWARE

Sebuah rumah terdiri dari beberapa ruangan yang dilengkapi dengan berbagai peralatan elektronik didalamnya. Setiap perangkat memiliki remote atau tombol pengendali masing-masing. Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi, mengatur dan mengendalikan peralatan yang terdapat di rumah dapat dilakukan dengan mudah melalui smartphone. Namun, apabila seluruh perangkat yang berada di rumah muncul pada layar smartphone secara bersamaan, hal ini dapat membuat ketidaknyamanan pengguna dalam pengendalian perangkat. Oleh karena itu, dikembangkan remote kendali dengan pendekatan context-aware berdasarkan ruangan yang akan dikendalikan. Pengendalian perangkat di ruangan dilakukan melalui smartphone Android dengan komunikasi Bluetooth. Biasanya untuk terkoneksi dengan perangkat Bluetooth, pengguna melakukannya secara manual dengan memilih salah satu perangkat Bluetooth yang muncul dari hasil pemindaian. Fokus penelitian adalah mengembangkan sistem pengendali nirkabel yang mampu melakukan konfigurasi otomatis sesuai dengan ruangan yang akan dikendalikan. Sistem menggunakan metode lokalisasi ruangan yang memanfaatkan kekuatan sinyal Bluetooth yang diterima atau RSSI Bluetooth. Hasil penelitian, sistem dapat melakukan konfigurasi otomatis dimana sistem mampu terkoneksi dengan ruangan terdekat secara otomatis. Sistem mampu mengenali perangkat-perangkat di ruangan yang sedang terjalin koneksi kemudian menampilkan menu kendali perangkat tersebut ke antarmuka smartphone. Selain itu, ketika pengguna berpindah ke ruangan lain, sistem mampu menyesuaikan konfigurasi ruangan sesuai dengan keadaan ruangan yang dituju.

A house consists of several rooms with electronic devices inside of it. Every device has a remote control or button to control it. With technologies have been increasing rapidly, we can control home appliances easily with a smartphone. However, if all the devices appear on screen simultaneously, this can make user inconvenience while controlling the devices. Therefore, this project aims to develop remote control using a context-aware approach based on the room would be handled. Controlling devices in the room is done via an Android smartphone with Bluetooth communication. Usually, to connect to a Bluetooth device, the user manually chooses one of the devices from the list that appears from scan results. The focus of this project is to develop a wireless control system that is capable of performing automatic configurations that suit the situation of the room. The system uses a localization method that utilizes signal strength that Bluetooth receives or RSSI Bluetooth. The testing result of the system can perform an automatic configuration where the system is connected automatically to the nearest room. The system can recognize devices in the connected room and display the device control menu to the smartphone. Moreover, when the user moves to another room, the system can adjust the room configuration according to circumstances of the intended area.
