Rumah potong hewan menurut SNI (1999) merupakan kompleks bangunan dengan desain konstruksi khusus yang memenuhi persyaratan teknis dan higienitas tertentu sebagai tempat memotong hewan potong selain unggas bagi konsumsi masyarakat. Peran RPH bagi kesehatan masyarakat veteriner yaitu pemotongan dengan terknik yang benar secara Islam serta meminimalisir penularan penyakit zoonosis. Berdirinya sebuah RPH memiliki kriteria lokasi yang digunakan sebagai kompleks RPH menurut Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Nomor 13/Permentan/OT.140/1/2010 yaitu tidak berada di area berbahaya (bebas banjir, tercemar asap, debu, dan kontaminan lainya), tidak menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan, memiliki akses air bersih yang cukup, dan terpisah secara fisik dengan RPH Babi. Lokasi Bangunan RPH Kambing Dinas Pertanian, Ketahanan Pangan dan Perikanan Kota Surakarta menurut Peraturan Menteri Pertanian Republik Indonesia Nomor 13/Permentan/OT.140/1/2010 sesuai dengan ketentuan dengan kekurangan antara lain tidak terdapat kandang isolasi, insenerator, SOP pegawai dan prasarana gedung utama penyembelihan. Tujuan penulisan Tugas Akhir ini untuk mengetahui tata laksana rumah pemotongan hewan kambing di RPH Kambing Dinas Pertanian, Ketahanan Pangan dan Perikanan Kota Surakarta.

Slaughterhouse according to SNI (1999) is a building complex with a special construction design that meets certain technical and hygiene requirements as a place to slaughter animals other than poultry for public consumption. The role of the slaughterhouse for veterinary public health is to cut with techniques that are correct in Islam and minimize the transmission of zoonotic disease. The establishment of an slaughterhouse has location criteria that are used as slaughterhouse complex according to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia 13/ Permentan/ OT.140/ 1/ 2010 which is not in a dangerous area (free from flooding, polluted by smoke, dust and other contaminants), does not cause environmental pollution, have sufficient access to clean water, and be physically separated from the pig���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½s slaughterhouse. The location of the slaughterhouse building of the Department Agriculture, Food Resistance and Fisheries of Surakarta City according to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic Indonesia 13/ Permentan/ OT.140/ 1/ 2010 in accordance with the provisions with deficiencies including lack of isolation cages, incinerators, standard operational procedures of employee and infrastructure inside the main slaughtering building. The purpose this final project is to find out the management of goat slaughterhouses in the Goat Slaughter Department of Agriculture, Food Resistance and Fisheries of Surakarta City.
