Analisis Komparatif Proses Resolusi Konflik antara Petani dan Penggembala di Nigeria dan Ghana

Konflik yang terjadi di antara petani dan penggembala yang terus berlangsung dapat ditemukan di Nigeria dan Ghana, namun diantara konflik tersebut terdapat fenomena yang menarik terjadi di Ghana, yakni dapat terciptanya koeksistensi di Ghana namun hal tersebut tak dapat ditemui di Nigeria, dengan melihat kesamaan aktor dan permasalahan yang sama yakni keterbatasan sumber daya alam seperti lahan dan sumber air, tulisan ini mencoba mengkomparasi faktor lain yang menyebabkan perbedaan kondisi di kedua negara, seperti sejarah masa kolonial hingga resolusi dari pemerintah di kedua negara terhadap konflik yang berlangsung, dengan menggunakan pandangan konstruktivisme tulisan ini mencoba untuk menjelaskan bahwa identitas bukan merupakan faktor tunggal dari konflik tersebut, karena indetitas tidak bersifat baku melainkan banyak peran yang membentuknya, dengan demikian dapat diketahui alasan dari perbedaan kondisi di antara kedua negara.

Conflicts that occur between farmers and herdsmen continue to be found in Nigeria and Ghana, but among these conflicts there are interesting phenomena occurring in Ghana, there is coexistence in Ghana but that cannot be found in Nigeria, by looking at the similarities of actors and the same problem that is the limitations of natural resources such as land and water resources, this paper tries to compare other factors that cause differences in conditions in the two countries, such as the history of the colonial period to the resolution of governments in both countries against the ongoing conflict, using the constructivism perspective, this paper try to explain that identity is not the sole factor of the conflict, because identity is not something that rigid but rather fluid and there are many roles that can shape it, thus it can be seen the reasons for differences in conditions between the two countries.
