SISTEM PEMANTAUAN DAN KONTROL MMA TRANSFER BERBASIS SOFTWARE TIA PORTAL V15 PADA POLYMERIZATION CONTROL PT. MARGACIPTA WIRASENTOSA

Bahan dasar akrilik yang biasa disebut MMA memiliki kepanjangan methyl methacrylate adalah senyawa organik berupa cairan tak berwarna yang memiliki sifat thermoplastic atau mencair saat dipanaskan. MMA transfer adalah pemindahan MMA dari tangki penyimpanan menuju tangki reaktor yang nantinya akan diproses dan menjadi acrylic pada PT. Margacipta Wirasentosa. Sistem pemantauan dan kontrol yang sebelumnya masih menggunakan sistem semi auto dengan panel pada setiap prosesnya dinilai perlu dikembangkan untuk mengurangi waktu serta meningkatkan keamanan dalam sistem. Sehingga pada penelitian ini memanfaatkan PLC SIMATIC S7-1500 sebagai pengontrol utama dan HMI sebagai interface. Perancangan sistem pemantauan dan kontrol dimulai dengan studi literatur terkait dengan penelitian yang dibuat, analisis sistem, pembuatan diagram blok dan pemetaan I/O yang digunakan, pembuatan flowchart. Selanjutnya dilakukan pembuatan program PLC dan HMI serta pada tahap akhir adalah pengujian dari sistem yang telah dibuat. Setelah dilakukannya perancangan dan pengujian sistem, diperoleh hasil bahwa sistem pemantauan dan kontrol MMA transfer berbasis software TIA Portal V15 pada Polymerization Control PT. Margacipta Wirasentosa dapat bekerja secara real-time serta memiliki pemberitahuan jika terjadi kesalahan sistem dan sistem kontrol sekuens otomatis.

The monitoring and control system that previously used a semi-auto system with panels in each process was considered necessary to be developed to reduce time and increase security in the system. So in this study utilizing SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC as the main controller and HMI as an interface. Monitoring and control system design begins with the study of literature relating to research made, system analysis, making block diagrams and mapping of I / O used, making flowcharts. Then the PLC and HMI program is made and the final stage is the testing of the system that has been made. After the system design and testing, the results were obtained that the monitoring and control system of MMA Transfer based on TIA Portal V15 software at PT. Margacipta Wirasentosa's Polimerization Control can work in real-time and has a notification if there is a system error an automatic sequence control system.
