ANALISIS TEKNIK PENERJEMAHAN DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP KUALITAS HASIL TERJEMAHAN WACANA HUMOR DALAM SUBTITLE FILM 'QU'EST-CE QU'ON A FAIT AU BON DIEU ?' DALAM BAHASA INGGRIS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan teknik penerjemahan dan implikasinya terhadap kualitas terjemahan wacana humor yang ada pada subtitle film Qu'est-Ce Qu'on A Fait Au Bon Dieu?. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah teks built-in subtitle yang ditranskrisikan oleh Gregou Le Fou. Sementara terjemahan subtitle dibuat oleh Aseif Akheir dan Monsieur Dieu. Data penelitian berupa wacana humor diperoleh melalui identifikasi terhadap kalimat yang ada pada teks sumber. Identifikasi dilandaskan pada teori humor Berger dan dijabarkan dengan menggunakan teori GTVH (General Theory of Verbal Humor) oleh Attardo. Dalam teorinya, terdapat dua kategori humor yakni language dan logic dengan jumlah data yang ditemukan sebanyak 152. Analisis teknik penerjemahan dilandaskan pada klasifikasi teknik penerjemahan yang disampaikan oleh Molina & Albir (2002). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa subtitle I menggunakan teknik penerjemahan yang cukup variatif. Terdapat 13 teknik yang digunakan dengan jumlah persentase tertinggi ada pada teknik literal 17.7 % dan kompresi linguistik 15.2 %. Sementara, subtitle II didominasi oleh teknik penerjemahan literal dengan persentase 53.2 %. Kualitas terjemahan dilihat dengan menggunakan delapan kriteria (Fanciful) yang disampaikan oleh Ying Sun (2019). Kedua subtitle memiliki tingkat kualitas hasil terjemahan yang baik, Implikasi dari penggunaan teknik penerjemahan ini akan berdampak kedelapan kriteria tersebut.

This study aims to describe the translation techniques and their implications for the quality of the translation of humorous discourse in the subtitle of the film Qu'est-Ce Qu'on A Fait Au Bon Dieu?. The data source of this research is the built-in subtitle text transcribed by Gregou Le Fou. While the subtitle translation was made by Aseif Akheir and Monsieur Dieu. The research data is in the form of humorous discourse obtained through identification of the sentences in the source text. The identification is based on Berger's humor theory and elaborated by using the theory of GTVH (General Theory of Verbal Humor) by Attardo. In his theory, there are two categories of humor namely language and logic with the amount of data found as much as 152. The analysis of translation techniques is based on the classification of translation techniques presented by Molina & Albir (2002). The results showed that subtitle I used quite varied translation techniques. There are 13 techniques used with the highest percentage in the literal technique 17.7% and linguistic compression 15.2%. Meanwhile, subtitle II is dominated by literal translation techniques with a percentage of 53.2%. The quality of translation is seen by using eight criteria (Fanciful) delivered by Ying Sun (2019). Both subtitles have a good level of quality translation results. The implication of the use of this translation technique will affect all the eight criteria.
