Persepsi Keluarga dan Lansia Dusun Jaten Terhadap Home care Lansia

Indonesia merupakan negara berstruktur tua karena jumlah lansia lebih dari 7 persen dari jumlah penduduk yang ada yaitu 9,03 persen. Dengan banyaknya lansia di Indonesia maka perlu adanya program perawatan untuk lansia, salah satunya adalah home care.. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi keluarga Dusun Jaten terhadap home care lansia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Lokasi penelitian berada di Dusun Jaten, Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif analisis. Teori yang digunakan.adalah teori pilihan rasional yang dikemukakan oleh Jame S. Coleman. Pada esensinya keluarga dan lansia Dusun Jaten menafsirkan bahwa setiap pilihan dipengaruhi oleh suatu hal. Temuan di lapangan menunjukan bahwa keluarga dan lansia Dusun Jaten menilai positif program home care lansia. Mereka menganggap bahwa home care lansia dapat membantu lansia dan keluarganya dalam beraktivitas sehari-hari. Namun keluarga dan lensia Dusun Jaten belum akan menggunakan program home care lansia. Persepsi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh budaya masyarakat setempat dan ekonomi.

Indonesia is an old structured country because the number of the elderlies is more than 7 percent of the total population that is 9.03 percent. With that many number of old people in Indonesia, care programs for them is needed, one of which is home care. This study aims to study the perceptions and attitudes of Jaten hamlet family towards home carec for the elderly. This research uses qualitative method with case studies approach. The research location is in Jaten Hamlet, Gunungkidul Regency. The data analysis uses descriptive analysis. Facts that are gathered in the field are explained in the form of words and interpreted in order to answer research questions. The theory used is the theory of rational choice put forward by Jame S. Coleman. In essence, the family and the elderly of Jaten Hamlet interpret that each choice is influenced by a matter. Jaten Hamlet family positively assessed the elderly home care program. They consider that elderly home care can help the elderly and their families in their daily activities. However, Jaten Hamlet family will not use the elderly home care program. The elderly in Jaten Hamlet also considered the existence of a good home care program, but just like the informant the head of the family, they also would not use the home care program This perception is influenced by the culture of the local community and the economy
