Kejahatan Siber adalah metode kejahatan yang terus berkembang karena globalisasi dan teknologi canggih yang dibuat. Dengan meningkatnya jumlah kejahatan terkait teknologi, ada kebutuhan akan hukum yang melindungi pengguna. Namun hukum perlu jelas agar semua pihak bisa memahami. Penelitian hukum ini bertujuan untuk memahami apakah definisi kesusilaan dalam undang-undang Informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik Indonesia Cukup jelas untuk melindungi pengguna. Penelitian hukum ini menggunakan pendekatan normatif. Pendekatan normatif penting karena menganalisis peraturan dan literatur lain yang terkait dengan masalah ini. Selain definisi kesusilaan yang sedang dibahas, penelitian ini juga akan membahas relevansi informasi dan Transaksi Elektronik di masa depan. Penelitian hukum ini sampai pada kesimpulan bahwa definisi kesopanan dalam Undang-Undang Informasi and Transaksi Elektronik Indonesia tidak memiliki makna yang jelas. Karena hal ini mempengaruhi relevansi undang-undang ini menjadi relevan, dapat ditemukan beberapa kelemahan hukum ini di masa depan.

Cyber crime is a method of crime that is constantly developing due to globalization and advance technology being made. With the number of technology related crimes rising there is a need for law that protects users. But the law needs to be clear so all parties can understand it. This legal research has the purpose of understanding whether the definition of decency in Indonesia Information and Electronic Transaction is clear enough to protect users. This legal research uses normative approach. The normative approach is important as it analyzes regulations and other literatures that are related to the issue. Other than the definition of decency being discussed this research will also discuss the relevancy of the Information and Electronic Transaction in the Future. This legal research comes to a conclusion that the definition of decency is Indonesia's Information and Electronic Transaction Law does not have a clear meaning. Because of this it influences the relevancy of this law being relevant, there can be found a few disadvantages of this law in the future.
