PERSEPSI PEMANDU WISATA GUA KALISUCI MENGENAI PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI KEPEMANDUAN WISATA GUA DENGAN SKKNI

Fokus penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami persepsi pemandu wisata gua yang telah melakukan sertifikasi profesi mengenai keberfungsian Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI) selaku indikator utama penilaian guna mendapatkan lisensi pemandu wisata gua. Observasi dan wawancara dilakukan di Geosite Gua Kalisuci yang dianggap memiliki representasi dari aplikasi pengelolaan destinasi berbasis geowisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan analisis framework. Berdasarkan hasil pemetaan dan analisis data, ketujuh responden menyepakati bahwa indikator SKKNI memiliki peran signifikan dalam upaya peningkatan kompetensi. Di sisi lain, peneliti menemukan adanya perbedaan pendapat terkait hal apa saja yang menjadi urgensi pelaksanaan SKKNI melalui aplikasi jangka panjang. Adapun dampak yang teramati sejak sertifikasi pertama dan kedua adalah adalah meningkatnya signifikansi pemahaman terkait kemampuan speleologi praktis, taktis dan keilmuan konservasi guna mendukung aplikasi speleotourisme. Responden juga secara spesifik menyebutkan terdapat enam elemen kunci yang menjadi penciri khas pemandu bersertifikat yang telah mendapatkan lisensi, yakni mengetahui dan/atau terjadi adanya peningkatan pemahaman konseptual, pembawaan diri, pengembangan pariwisata, peningkatan kompetensi pemandu, edukasi speleologi, dan lisensi.

The focus of this study is to understand the percepetions of cave tour guide who have carried out proffesional certification regarding the functioning of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) as the main indicator of assessment in order to obtain a cave tour guide license. Observations and interviewa were conducted at the Kalisuci Cave Geosite which was considered to have a representation of a geotourism-based destination management application. This study uses qualitative research methods with the framework analysis. Based on the results of mapping and data analysis, the seven respondents agreed that the SKKNI indicator had a significant role in efforts to improve competence. On the other hand, the researches found that there were differences of opinion regarding what was the urgency of implementing the SKKNI through long-term application. The impact observed since the first and second certification is the increasing significance of understanding related to the practical, tactical and conservation speleological capabilities of conservation to support the application of speleotoursim. Respondents also specifially mentioned that there are six key elements that characterize certified guides who have obtained licenses, namelu knowing and/or there is an increase in conceptual understanding, self-development, tourism development, enhancing the competence of guides, speleology education, and licensing.
