PERAN HUBUNGAN LANSIA DENGAN CUCU MELALUI COMPUTER MEDIATED COMMUNICATION (CMC) TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PSIKOLOGIS LANSIA

Abstrak. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai peran hubungan antara lansia dengan cucu melalui CMC pada kesejahteraan psikologis lansia. Salah satu faktor yang memengaruhi kesejahteraan psikologis lansia adalah hubungan lansia dengan cucu. Pada masa sekarang, hubungan antara lansia dengan cucu banyak dilakukan melalui teknologi salah satunya yang berbasis internet seperti computer mediated communication (CMC). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran hubungan lansia dengan cucu melalui computer mediated communication (CMC) terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lansia. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah hubungan lansia dengan cucu melalui CMC berperan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lansia. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 72 lansia. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala hubungan antargenerasi melalui teknologi dan skala kesejahteraan psikologis. Analisis regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa hubungan lansia dengan cucu melalui CMC berperan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis lansia.

Abstrack. This study focuses on the role of the relationship between elderly and grandchildren through CMC on the elderly apostrophe s psychological well-being. One of the factors influence elderly apostrophe s psychological well-being is elderly relationship with granchildren. Currently the relationship between elder and their grandchildren is mostly done through technology, such as internet-based technology. This study aims to examine the role of the elderly relationship with grandchildren through computer mediated communication (CMC) on the elderly apostrophe s psychological well-being. The research hypothesis is elderly relationship with grandchildren through CMC plays a role in the elderly apostrophe s kesejahteraan psikologis. Participants of this study were 72 elders. The data collected using intergenerational relationship through technology scale and kesejahteraan psikologipsychological well-being scale. Data analysis was performed using simple regression. The result shown that elderly relationship with grandchildren through CMC plays a role in the elderly apostrophe s psychological well-being.
