PENGOLAHAN ARSIP FOTO DI ISTANA KEPRESIDENAN YOGYAKARTA

Tugas akhir ini mendiskusikan tentang pengolahan arsip foto di Istana Kepresidenan Yogyakarta. Tujuan pembuatan tugas akhir ini untuk memahami kondisi arsip foto yang ada, tahapan pengolahan arsip foto, sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan serta kendala apa yang dihadapi saat mengolahan arsip foto. Dalam tugas akhir ini terdapat tiga metode yang digunakan yaitu pertama, observasi dengan melakukan pengamatan secara langsung di Istana Kepresidenan Yogyakarta. Kedua, wawancara yang dilakukan guna mendapatkan data atau informasi terkait arsip foto dengan melakukan tanya jawab. Ketiga, studi pustaka yang dilakukan dengan cara pencarian data menggunakan sumber yaitu buku, jurnal, artikel, dan peraturan. Dalam kajian ini didapatkan tiga kesimpulan yaitu pertama, semua arsip foto belum tertata dengan baik. Kedua, tahapan dalam pengolahan arsip foto yaitu menyeleksi foto, burning foto ke DVD-RW, deskripsi arsip, pemberian kode klasifikasi, manuver arsip, pemberikan guide, penomoran arsip, penataan dalam boks, pembuatan daftar arsip foto. Ketiga, perlunya peningkatan sarana dan prasarana agar kendala seperti tidak adanya boks untuk menyimpan DVD-RW, tidak adanya kartu deskripsi, Air Conditioner yang tidak berfungsi normal dapat diatasi.

The final project discusses about the arrangement of still image at the Istana Kepresidenan Yogyakarta. The purpose of this final project is to describe the current status of the still image, the sequence of processes, the facilities used, and the obstacles faced during the arrangement process of still image. In this final project there are three methods that are used to collect the data. First, direct observation in the Istana Kepresidenan Yogyakarta. Second, an interview is conducted in order to obtain related information affiliated with photo archives by conducting question and answers. Third, a literature studyis conducted by searching data from sources such as books, journals, articles, and regulations. First conclusion from the data analysis is that still image was found in the irregular arrangement. Second, the arrangement process started from selecting the still image, burning the still image to the DVD-RW, describing the archives, providing classification, maneuver a list of still image, giving a guide, providing numbering, arrangement within a box, and making a list of the still image. Third, there is a need for improvement in the facilities so that obstacles such as there is no a box for storing DVD-RW, there is no description cards, air conditioner that is not functioning normally can be overcome.
