Peranan Psychological Capital terhadap Readiness for Change dengan Authentic Leadership sebagai moderator

Pemerintah akan menerapkan kebijakan penyederhanaan birokrasi melalui penataan unit organisasi eselon III ke bawah. Efektifitas perubahan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kesiapan berubah anggota organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran psychological capital terhadap readiness for change, dengan authentic leadership sebagai moderator. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Responden penelitian ini adalah 163 pejabat struktural di Lingkungan Pemerintah Provinsi Riau. Analisis uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan moderated regression analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa psychological capital dan authentic leadership secara simultan berperan terhadap readiness for change. Authentic leadership dalam penelitian ini tidak terbukti menjadi moderator peranan psychological capital terhadap readiness for change. Penelitian ini juga menekankan pentingnya resilience sebagai dimensi yang paling berperan dalam psychological capital terhadap peningkatan readiness for change dan menegaskan peranan pemimipin sebagai agent of change untuk implementasi perubahan organisasi.
Bureaucratic reform is important for government organizations to transform into a responsive, effective and agile organization. The government will implement a policy of simplifying the bureaucracy through structuring echelon III organizational units and below. The effectiveness of these changes was influenced by the readiness to change members of the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the role of psychological capital (psycap) in readiness for change, with authentic leadership as a moderator. Data were collected using questionnaires. The subjects were 163 structural local government in the Riau Province. Hypothesis testing analysis was performed by using moderated regression analysis. The result showed that psycap and authentic leadership simultaneously contributed to readiness for change, but authentic leadership does not moderate the effect of psycap on readiness for change. This research emphasizes the importance of resilience as psycap's dimension to increase the individual readiness for change in an organization an the role of leadership as a change agent for implementing organizational change.
