Fenomena Homoseksual dalam Perspektif Fenomenologi Edmund Husserl

Penelitian kepustakaan berjudul Fenomena Homoseksual dalam Perspektif Fenomenologi Edmund Husserl ini dilatarbelakangi oleh simpati intelektual peneliti terhadap eksistensi individu homoseksual yang mengalami diskriminasi dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi problematika mendasar fenomena homoseksual dan menguraikan fenomena homoseksual apabila dikaji menggunakan fenomenologi Edmund Husserl. Untuk mengidentifikasi secara objektif bagaimana fenomena homoseksual menggunakan perspektif fenomenologi Edmund Husserl, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitan kualitatif dengan kepustakaan sebagai sumber bahan utamanya, yaitu Sexual Behavior in the Human Male karya Kinsey, Memberi Suara pada yang Bisu karya Dede Oetomo, The Phenomenology of Internal Time-Consciousness karya Edmund Husserl, dan The Crisis of Europian Sciences and Transendental Phenomenology karya Edmund Husserl. Jalannya penelitian dimulai dengan pengumpulan kepustakaan, pengklasifikasian kepustakaan, pengolahan, hingga sampai pada penyusunan hasil penelitian. Penyusunan hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan cara deskripsi, interpretasi, koherensi, dan terakhir adalah refleksi filosofis mengenai fenomena homoseksual secara sistematis. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini mengindikasikan adanya dua temuan. Pertama, problem mendasar pada fenomena homoseksual adalah sikap heteronormativitas yang menganggap hubungan percintaan normal ialah antara laki-laki dan perempuan sehingga fenomena homoseksual dianggap sebagai hal yang tabu dan menyimpang. Heteronormativitas ini disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, diantaranya ialah agama, kemanusiaan, dan pandangan masyarakat. Kedua, fenomenologi Edmund Husserl dalam melihat fenomena homoseksual menyiratkan bahwa sesungguhnya fenomena homoseksual merupakan suatu variasi orientasi seksual yang wajar seperti halnya heteroseksual. Hal ini ditunjukkan melalui metode fenomenologis yang bekerja dengan cara menyingkirkan segala tabir subjektivitas agar fenomena dapat dilihat secara objektif. Fenomenologi Edmund Husserl menghasilkan sudut pandang intersubjektif dengan tidak serta-merta memberi judge kepada individu homoseksual.

This library research titled Homosexual Phenomenon in Edmund Husserl's Phenomenology Perspective is motivated by concerns about the existence of homosexual individuals who experience discrimination in social life. Therefore, this study seeks to identify the fundamental problematic of homosexual phenomena and describe homosexual phenomena when using Edmund Husserl phenomenology. To identify objectively how homosexual phenomena use the perspective of Edmund Husserl's phenomenology, this study uses qualitative research methods with literature as the main source of materials are Sexual Behavior in the Human Male by Kinsey, Memberi Suara pada yang Bisu by Dede Oetomo, The Phenomenology of Internal Time Consciousness by Edmund Husserl, and The Crisis of Europian Sciences and Transcendental Phenomenology by Edmund Husserl. The course of the research began with the collection of literature, the classification of literature, processing, to the preparation of research results. The preparation of the results of the research is carried out by means of description, interpretation, coherence, and finally is a philosophical reflection on the homosexual phenomenon systematically. The results achieved in this study indicate the existence of two findings. First, the fundamental problem with homosexual phenomena is heteronormativity which considers normal love relations between men and women so that homosexual phenomena are considered taboo and deviant. This heteronormativity is caused by various factors, including religion, humanity, and social perspective. Second, the phenomenology of Edmund Husserl in seeing homosexual phenomena implies that in fact homosexual phenomena is a variation of sexual orientation as well as heterosexuality. This is demonstrated through the phenomenological method that works by getting rid of all the veil of subjectivity so that phenomena can be seen objectively. Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl produces an intersubjective point of view by not necessarily giving judges to homosexual individuals.
