Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengurai pandangan dunia gereja Katolik terhadap dunia di luar dirinya yang terungkap dalam simbol dan mitos sakramen-sakramen gereja Katolik, dan mengungkap bagaimana hubungan manusia dan Tuhan dalam perkawinan campur. Penelitian ini menggunakan topik-topik filsafat agama seperti mitos, simbol, moralitas, dan kehendak bebas sebagai objek formal. Mitos dan simbol digunakan untuk mengurai sakramen-sakramen yang ada pada gereja Katolik. Moralitas dan kehendak bebas digunakan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana hubungan manusia dan Tuhan dalam perkawinan campur. Pandangan dunia Gereja Katolik melihat bahwa manusia memiliki suatu kondisi di mana seorang individu mengenal Tuhan atau belum mengenal Tuhan. Tradisi suci berasal dari pengembangan pada saat manusia mengenal Tuhan dan juga moralitas yang didasarkan pada mitos. Manusia yang mengenal Tuhan menafsirkan pengalamannya menjadi pengalaman religius berdasar sistem pengetahuan religi yang dibentuk dari tradisi suci suatu agama atau kepercayaan. Dalam pengalaman tersebut terjadi dinamika manusia yang berdosa dan jauh dari Tuhan, dan terdapat cara tersendiri bagi Tuhan untuk dapat rekonsiliasi dengan Manusia hal tersebut berada di dalam moralitas dan kehendak bebas manusia. perkawinan, perkawinan campur, filsafat agama, pandangan dunia

This study aims to parse the world view of the Catholic Church to the world outside of itself through the revelation of the symbols and myths contained within the sacraments of the Catholic Church, as well as to decipher the relationship between humans and God in interfaith marriage. This study uses topics taken from the philosophy of religion such as myths, symbols, morality, and free will as the formal objects. Myths and symbols were used to unravel the sacraments that exists in the Catholic Church. Morality and free will were used to explain the relationship between humans and God within interfaith marriage. The worldview of the Catholic Church perceives humans as individuals that stands under a condition on whether the individual themselves are acquainted to the presence of God. Sacred traditions originate from the development of when humans were firstly aware of the presence of God, as well as the understanding of morality based on myths. Humans who acknowledges God interprets their own individual experiences into religious experiences based on the religious knowledge systems that were formed from the sacred traditions of a religion or belief. In said experience, there was a form of dynamic between sinful humans and the understanding of being far from God, to which results an understanding of the existence of a special way for God to reconcile with humans through morality and free will.
