Konstruksi Kalimat Sederhana Bahasa Melayu - Larantuka; Tinjauan Deskriptif

Bahasa Melayu Larantuka (LRT) adalah bahasa di NTT yang belum banyak diketahui. Penelitian bahasa mengenai LRT yang terpublikasi tergolong minim jika dibandingkan dengan bahasa Lamaholot yang lebih sering tersorot terkait bahasa-bahasa di Flores Timur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah secara deskriptif mengenai konstruksi kalimat sederhana dalam LRT berdasarkan unsur pengisi fungsi predikatnya; verba dan non verba. Data dijaring secara elisit melalui interaksi dengan penutur asli. Ditemukan terdapat konstruksi avalent, monovalent, bivalen, dan trivalent dalam LRT, dengan berbagai unsur pengisi fungsi predikat. Ditemukan pula definite dan indefinite dalam konstruksi kalimat sederhana LRT. Konstruksi aktif dan pasif pada kalimat sederhana LRT teridentifikasi melalui letak susunan konstituen dalam konstruksi kalimat. Penggunaan afiksasi pada konstruksi kalimat LRT minimal dan terlihat pula bahwa LRT merupakan bahasa dengan konstruksi verb medial dan memiliki pola susunan umum berupa SVO.

Larantuka Malay Language (LRT) is a language in NTT that is still not widely known. Published language studies of LRT are minimal when compared to the it is of Lamaholot language which is more often highlighted in regard to languages in East Flores. This study aims to analyzes descriptively about the construction of simple sentences in LRT based on the elements that subjected the predicate function; that are verbs and non-verbs. Data is captured explicitly through interactions with native speakers. There are avalent, monovalent, bivalent, and trivalent constructions in LRT, with various elements subjected to the predicate functions. Also found definite and indefinite circumstances in the construction of LRT�s simple sentences. Active and passive constructions in LRT�s simple sentences are identified through the arrangement of constituents in the construction. The use of affixation in LRT sentence construction is minimal and it is also concluded that LRT is a language with medial verb construction and has a general arrangement of SVO.
