HUBUNGAN ANTARA SIKAP DAN PERILAKU KEBERSIHAN DIRI SAAT MENSTRUASI PADA REMAJA PUTRI DI SMP N 1 PURWOSARI

Latar Belakang: Perilaku kebersihan diri saat menstruasi merupakan hal yang penting untuk lebih diperhatikan lagi, karena perilaku kebersihan diri yang buruk dapat menyebabkan datangnya penyakit salah satunya infeksi. Perilaku yang terbentuk merupakan respon seseorang yang timbul dari beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah sikap seseorang itu sendiri. Sikap yang baik akan menghasilkan perilaku kebersihan diri saat menstruasi yang baik. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan sikap dan perilaku kebersihan diri saat menstruasi pada remaja putri di SMP N 1 Purwosari kabupaten Gunungkidul tahun 2019. Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP N 1 Purwosari kabupaten Gunungkidul yang dilakukan pada periode bulan Oktober 2019. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 62 siswi dengan karakteritik yang sama. Peneliti mengunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu proportional random sampling. Data diperoleh dari hasil lembar kuesioner yang terdiri dari kuesioner sikap dan perilaku kebersihan diri saat menstruasi yang telah teruji valid dan reliabel. Analisis data menggunakan uji Spearman Rho (α= 0,05). Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sikap responden cukup baik sebanyak 36 responden (53%), perilaku cukup baik sebanyak 33 responden (58%). Dari analisis bivariat dengan uji Spearman diperoleh nilai p 0,000 dan r 0,443, sehingga hubungan antara sikap dan perilaku personal hygiene selama menstruasi dan hubungan antara kedua variabel memiliki nilai korelasi sedang atau kuat. Kesimpulan: Sikap dan perilaku kebersihan diri remaja putri cukup baik. Siswi SMP saat ini perlu diberikan edukasi tentang perawatan dan kebersihan diri saat menstruasi pada remaja putri.

Background : Personal hygiene behavior during menstruation is important to pay more attention to, because poor personal hygiene behavior can cause illness, one of which is infection. Behavior that is formed is a person's response arising from several factors one of which is one's own attitude. A good attitude will produce good personal hygiene behavior during menstruation. Objective : This study aims to determine the relationship of attitudes and behaviors of personal hygiene during menstruation in young women in SMP N 1 Purwosari, Gunungkidul district in 2019. Method : This research is analytic correlation with cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in SMP N 1 Purwosari Gunungkidul district conducted in the period October 2019. Respondents in this study were 62 students with the same characteristics. Researchers used a sampling technique that is proportional random sampling. Data obtained from the results of questionnaire sheets consisting of attitude and behavior hygiene questionnaires during menstruation that have been tested valid and reliable. Data analysis using the Spearman Rho test (α= 0,05). Results : The results showed that respondents' attitudes were quite good as many as 36 respondents (53%), behavior was quite good as many as 33 respondents (58%). From the bivariate analysis with the Spearman test obtained p value 0,000 and r 0.443, so that the relationship between attitudes and personal hygiene behavior during menstruation and the relationship between the two variables have moderate or strong correlation values. Conclusion : Adolescent attitudes and behavioral hygiene of young women is quite good. Middle school students now need to be educated about care and personal hygiene during menstruation in young women.
