ESTIMASI DINAMIKA POPULASI DAN PETA POPULASI SAPI POTONG DI KECAMATAN CANGKRINGAN KABUPATEN SLEMAN DAERAH ISTIMEWA YOGYAKARTA

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika dan peta populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Cangkringan, Kabupaten Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September 2019 hingga Oktober 2019. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode sensus di tiga desa yaitu Desa Argomulyo, Wukirsari, dan Umbulharjo untuk memperoleh data primer dengan total responden 760 orang dan total populasi 1683 ekor. Data sekunder (5 tahun terakhir) diperoleh dari Dinas Pertanian, Pangan dan Perikanan Kabupaten Sleman. Estimasi populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Cangkringan menggunakan metode analisis kenaikan rata-rata dan analisis time series. Populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Cangkringan pada tahun 2014 sampai 2018 mengalami penurunan rata-rata 2,51% per tahun. Estimasi populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Cangkringan tahun 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, dan 2023 menggunakan metode analisis time series mengalami penurunan yaitu 2933, 2837, 2741, 2645, dan 2549 ekor. Estimasi populasi sapi potong tahun 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, dan 2023 menggunakan metode kenaikan rata-rata juga mengalami penurunan yaitu 2923, 2849, 2777, 2707, dan 2639 ekor. Komposisi sapi potong di Kecamatan Cangkringan terdiri atas sapi SIMPO 39,45%, LIMPO 29,35%, dan PO 31,20%. Struktur populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Cangkringan terdiri dari dewasa 65,30% (jantan 22,76% dan betina 42,54%), muda 12,72% (jantan 7,01% dan betina 5,70%), dan pedet 21,98% (jantan 14,44% dan betina 7,55%).

This research was aimed to determine the population dynamics and population map of beef cattle in the Cangkringan District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The research was conducted in September 2019 until October 2019. It was done by census methods in three villages namely Argomulyo, Wukirsari, and Umbulharjo villages to obtain primary data with a total of 760 respondents and a total population of 1683 heads of beef cattle. The secondary data (in the last 5 years) were obtained from Sleman Regency Department of Agriculture, Food and Fisheries. The estimation of the beef cattle population in Cangkringan District used the average increase analysis method and time series analysis. Beef cattle population in the Cangkringan District from 2014 to 2018 decreased by 2.51% per year. The estimation of beef cattle population in the Cangkringan District in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 which used the time series analysis were decreased by 2933, 2837, 2741, 2645, and 2549 heads. The estimation of beef cattle population in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 which used the average increase method also decreased by 2923, 2849, 2777, 2707, and 2639 heads. The composition of beef cattle in the Cangkringan District consisted of SIMPO cattle 39.45%, LIMPO 29.35%, and PO 31.20%. Beef cattle population structure in Cangkringan District consisted of cattle 65.30% (22.76% bulls and 42.54% cows), 12.72% yearling (7.01% male and 5.70% female), and calves 21.98% (14.44% male and 7.55% female).
