STRUCTURE, CONDUCT, & PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN INDONESIA YEAR 2012 - 2018

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis struktur, perilaku, dan kinerja industri konstruksi di Indonesia pada periode 2012-2018. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder yang berasal dari laporan keuangan masing-masing perusahaan konstruksi di Indonesia yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI). Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dan metode kuantitatif dengan model ekonometrika yang berbasis pada kerangka teori Structure, Conduct, Performance (SCP). Penelitian ini menggunakan dua model persamaan dalam menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kinerja industri juga guna menghindari adanya masalah spesifikasi. Hasil penelitian pada kedua model persamaan menunjukkan bahwa pangsa pasar; konsentrasi tiga perusahaan terbesar (CR3), intensitas periklanan (Advertising Intensity) memiliki hubungan yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Return on Asset (ROA) dan Return on Equity (ROE).

This study aims to analyse the structure, conduct, and performance of the construction industry in Indonesia in the 2012-2018 period. The data used is secondary data derived from the financial statements of each construction company in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The analytical method used are qualitative method and quantitative method with an econometric model based on the theoretical framework of Structure, Conduct, Performance (SCP). This research uses two equation models in analysing the factors that influence the performance of the industry as well in order to avoid any specification problems. The results of the research on the two equation models show that the market share; concentration of the three largest companies (CR3); and advertising intensity has a positive and significant relationship to Return on Assets (ROA) and Return on Equity (ROE).
