TUTURAN PERSUASIF DALAM ACARA TELEVISI MASTER KEY EPISODE 4: KAJIAN PRAGMATIK

Penulis menggunakan acara televisi Master Key episode 4 sebagai objek penelitian karena pada episode ini para pemain sering mengujarkan tuturan persuasif dan tuturan persuasif tersebut memiliki pengaruh yang kuat terhadap pemain lain dibandingkan dengan episode lainnya. Penelitian ini secara mendalam menganalisis tuturan persuasif menurut kajian pragmatik. Analisis penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara mentranskripsikan tuturan persuasif yang diujarkan oleh para pemain Master Key episode 4. Data-data yang berupa tuturan persuasif tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan diklasifikasikan menurut jenis-jenis tindak tutur berdasarkan teori George Yule (1996). Penulis juga menyertakan penjelasan mengenai pengaruh tuturan persuasif terhadap pemain lain dan strategi tuturannnya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dari tuga puluh tujuh data tuturan persuasif terdapat dua belas tuturan persuasif jenis tindak tutur asertif yang sering dituturkan para pemain Master Key episode 4. Dalam Master Key episode 4, tuturan persuasif asertif diujarkan para pemain untuk memberikan informasi, menyampaikan pendapat, mengingatkan sesuatu, memberikan saran, dan melakukan pengeklaiman bahwa penutur merupakan seorang angel kepada lawan tuturnya. Tuturan persuasif asertif yang diujarkan para pemain Master Key episode 4 sangatlah memiliki pengaruh yang kuat karena melalui jenis tindak tutur ini penutur berhasil memberikan persuasi kepada lawan tuturnya. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa setiap tuturan persuasif dengan jenis tindak tutur yang sama belum tentu memiliki strategi tuturan yang sama pula.
This study discusses the persuasive utterances spoken by performers of episode 4 of the Master Key television show in order to influence trust between performers. The author uses the television show Master Key episode 4 as the object of research because, in this episode, the performers often speak persuasive utterances, and these persuasive utterances have a stronger influence on other performers compared to other episodes. This study profoundly analyzes persuasive utterances according to the pragmatic study. The analysis of this research was carried out by transcribing persuasive utterances expressed by Master Key episode 4 performers. The data in the form of persuasive utterances profoundly by being classified according to the types of action utterance based on George Yule's (1996) theory. The author also includes an explanation of the effect of persuasive speech on other performers and their uttering strategies. Based on the results of the analysis, from 37 persuasive utterance data, there are 12 persuasive utterance types of assertive action utterance that are often uttered by Master Key episode 4 performers. In the Master Key episode 4, persuasive assertive speech is spoken by the players to give information, to convey opinions, to remind something, to advise, and to commit that speaker is an angel to their interlocutors. The persuasive, assertive speech uttered by the Master Key episode 4 Performers is compelling because through this type of action utterance the speaker succeeds in giving persuasion to their interlocutors. The results also showed that each persuasive utterance with the same type of action utterance does not necessarily have the same uttering strategy.
