EVALUASI PERHITUNGAN BEBAN PENDINGINAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE TETD/TA (STUDI KASUS BANGUNAN EDUKASI)

Penghematan energi pada sektor bangunan dapat dilakukan dengan cara memasang sistem tata udara sesuai dengan kapasitasnya. Untuk menentukan besarnya kapasitas dari sistem tata udara pada suatu bangunan diperlukan perhitungan beban pendinginan. Salah satu metode untuk menghitung beban pendinginan secara manual adalah metode TETD/TA. Metode TETD / TA adalah metode yang mempertimbangkan sifat termal seperti jeda waktu dan faktor penurunan dari material yang digunakan. Penelitian ini akan melakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil perhitungan beban pendinginan dengan metode TETD/TA. Evaluasi perhitungan ini dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan hasil perhitungan metode TETD/TA dengan hasil perhitungan metode HBM. IES-VE adalah perangkat lunak yang menyediakan fasilitas perhitungan beban pendinginan dengan metode HBM sehingga dapat dijadikan acuan bagi metode TETD/TA. Perhitungan beban pendinginan dilakukan pada gedung Pusat Pembelajaran FEB UGM. Nilai selisih perhitungan terbesar terjadi pada komponen lantai sebesar 3559,51 kW dan kesalahan relatif sebesar 1,32. Adapun beban pendinginan secara keseluruhan memiliki selisih perhitungan sebesar 87914,72 kW dan kesalahan relatif sebesar 0,18. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan dengan metode TETD/TA mengalami perbesaran hasil perhitungan 0,18 kali lebih besar daripada hasil perhitungan dengan simulasi IES-VE.

Energy savings in the building sector can be performed by installing HVAC system in accordance with its capacity. Determining the capacity of the HVAC system in a building is required cooling load calculation. One of the method to calculate the cooling load manually is the TETD/TA method. The TETD/TA method is a method that consider the thermal properties such as time lag and decrement factor of the materials which is used. This study will evaluate the results of the cooling load calculation with the TETD/TA method. Evaluation of this calculation is performed by comparing the results of the TETD/TA method calculation with the results of the HBM method calculation. IES-VE is software that provides a cooling load calculation facility with the HBM method so that it can be used as a reference for the TETD/TA method. The cooling load calculation is performed at the FEB UGM Learning Center building. The biggest difference in calculation value occurs in the floor component is 3559,51 kW and a relative error is 1,32. The difference in calculation is 87914,72 kW and the relative error is 0,18. This calculation using the TETD/TA method increases the magnification of the calculation result 0,18 times greater than the calculation result by the IES-VE simulation.
