INTISARI Keberadaan industri seringkali menjadi kutub pertumbuhan bagi perkembangan wilayah. Upaya pengembangan industri di Kecamatan Tempuran tidak didukung oleh ketersediaan data yang komprehensif mengenai industri kecil dan menengah tersebut. Minimnya ketersediaan data informasi yang komprehensif terkait industri menengah, industri kecil dan rumah tangga di Kecamatan Tempuran dapat menimbulkan permasalahan. Industri-industri yang berkembang di Kecamatan Tempuran tidak berada pada satu kawasan khusus sebagai industrial estate tetapi menyebar pada beberapa desa. Keberadaan industri bercampur dengan fungsi-fungsi lain seperti permukiman, perdagangan dan jasa, serta lahan pertanian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakeristik sentra industri, Konsentrasi Spasial sentra industri di Kecamatan Tempuran dan Salaman Kabupaten Magelang. . Jenis pnelitian ini merupakan deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik sentra industri, tipologi sentra industri dan mengidentifikasi konsentrasi spasial sentra industri di Kecamatan Tempuran dan Salaman. teknik pengumpulan data dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah Chi Kuadrat, Indeks Spesialiasasi, Indeks Hierscmann Herfindhal dan Analisis Swot. Dengan demikian penelitian ini akan menggambarkan fakta-fakta dan menjelaskan keadaan dari objek penelitian serta mencoba menganalisis kebenarannya berdasarkan data yang diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa karakteristik sentra industri di Kecamatan Tempuran dan Salaman mayoritas berskala mikro dengan nilai persentase sebesar (62,33%), indeks spesialisasi sentra industri tempe 6,59%, slondok 1,63%, batu bata 21,71%, mebel kayu 4,48%, besek 1,26%, keranjang tongkol 6,09%, kusen kayu 1,70%, sangkar burung 13,44% dan genteng 6,32%. Konsentrasi spasial sentra industri tempe 0,5954, slondok 0,2829, batu bata 0,4375, mebel kayu 0,5718, besek 0,4867, keranjang tongkol 0,1608, kusen kayu 0,8706, sangkar burung 0,6676 dan genteng 0,2935. Strategi pengembangan sentra industri yang tepat untuk diterapkan di Kecamatan tempuran dan Salaman sesuai dengan faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal berdasarkan analisis matriks SWOT dan analisis matrik QSPM adalah menoptimalisasi kapasitas produksi perlu dilakukan untuk menjaga keberlanjutan output produksi yang dihasilkan dari industri, menjaga kualitas produksi, memilih lokasi yang strategis untuk memudahkan konsumen dan pemasaran produk, serta menetapkan strategi harga. ABSTRACT The success of industrial growth becomes a pole of growth for regional development. Industry development efforts in Tempuran District are not supported by the availability of comprehensive data on the small and medium industries. The lack of availability of comprehensive information data related to medium industries, Small and household industries in Tempuran District can cause problems. The industries that developed in Tempuran Subdistrict were not in one special area as industrial estate but spread in several villages. The existence of industry is mixed with other functions such as settlement, trade and services, and agricultural land. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of industrial centers, Spatial concentration of industrial centers in Tempuran and Salaman Districts Magelang Regency. This type of research is quantitative descriptive to identify the characteristics of industrial centers, typology of industrial centers and identifying the spatial concentration of industrial centers in the Districts of Tempuran and Salaman. Data collection techniques and data analysis used are Chu Squares, Specialization Index, Hierscmann Herfindhal Index and Swot Analysis. Thus this research will describe the facts and explain the state of the object of research and try to analyze its truth based on the data obtained. The results showed that the characteristics of industrial centers in the District of Tempuran and Salaman the majority of micro-scale with a percentage value of (62.33%), tempe industry center specialization index 6.59%, slondok 1.63%, 21.71% brick, wooden furniture 4.48%, baskets 1.26%, 6.59% cob baskets, wooden frame 1.70%, bird cage 13.44% and 6.32% tile. Spatial concentration of tempe industry center 0.5954, slondok 0.2829, brick 0.4375, wooden furniture 0.5718, baskets 0.4867, cob basket 0.1608, wooden frame 0.8706, bird cage 0.6676 and tile 0.2935. The strategy of developing the right industrial center to be applied in Tempuran and Salaman subdistricts in accordance with internal and external environmental factors based on the SWOT matrix analysis and QSPM matrix analysis is that maximizing production capacity needs to be carried out to maintain the sustainability of production output generated from industry, maintaining production quality, choose a strategic location to facilitate consumers and product marketing, and setting pricing strategies.
