EVENT MANAGEMENT OF JAKSA MASUK SEKOLAH (JMS) AS THE PROGRAM OF KEJAKSAAN TINGGI DIY

Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk membahas profil Kantor Kejaksaan Tinggi DIY sebagai salah satu lembaga negara di bidang penuntutan dan manajemen acara untuk Jaksa Masuk Sekolah sebagai salah satu program Informasi Hukum (divisi hubungan masyarakat di Kejaksaan Tinggi DIY Office), yaitu Pengembangan Masyarakat yang Taat Hukum (BINMATKUM) sebagai produk hubungan masyarakat di Kantor Kejaksaan Agung DIY. Dalam tesis ini penulis mendeskripsikan secara deskriptif sesuai dengan proses manajemen dasar Planning, Organizing, Actuating dan Controlling (POAC) dan melalui data yang diperoleh selama program magang yang berlangsung pada 18 Februari - 18 April 2019. Penulis juga menjadi bagian dari co-fasilitator pada saat kegiatan dan mewawancarai seorang peserta Jaksa Masuk Sekolah (JMS) di SMP Negeri 3 Yogyakarta, 20 Maret 2019 tersebut. Data yang diperoleh dari studi lapangan dan studi pustaka kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil analisis dari lapangan, wawancara dan pencarian perpustakaan tersebut diuraikan oleh penulis melalui kalimat, angka, dan grafik untuk menjawab tujuan studi pada makalah ini. Sebagai hasil, program JMS telah menggunakan fungsi manajemen acara POAC dari George R. Terry dan menemukan bahwa JMS telah mencakup aspek pendidikan tetapi belum mencapai aspek efektif dan atraktif.

This final project aims to discuss the profile of the DIY High Prosecutor's Office as one of the state institutions in the field of prosecution and event management for Prosecutors Entering the School as one of the Legal Information programs (the public relations division in the DIY High Prosecutor's Office), namely the Development of Law-abiding Societies (BINMATKUM) as public relations products in the DIY Attorney General's Office. In this thesis the author describes descriptively in accordance with the basic management processes of Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling (POAC) and through the data obtained during the internship program which took place on 18 February - 18 April 2019. The author also became part of the co-facilitator at the time of the activity and interviewing the participants of the Attorney Entering School (JMS) at SMP Negeri 3 Yogyakarta, March 20, 2019. Data obtained from field study and library study were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the analysis from the field, interview and library search were then elaborated by the writer through sentences, figures, and charts to answer the objectives of study on this paper. As a result, the JMS program has passed POAC's event management function from George R. Terry and found that JMS has covered the educational aspects but has not yet reached an effective and attractive value.
