Event Management Of Indonesia-Australia Interfaith Dialogue 2019 Held By Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas profil Direktorat Jendral Informasi dan Diplomasi Publik, Kementrian Luar Negeri. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menganalisa langkah-langkah manajemen acara Dialog Lintas Agama Indonesia-Australia yang diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Diplomasi Publik di Bandung pada tanggal 13-14 Maret 2019. Metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode kualitatif. Metode ini dilakukan dengan pengamatan langsung di Kementrian Luar Negeri, yang merupakan tempat penulis melakukan Praktek Kerja Lapangan (PKL) dari bulan 16 Januari sampai 22 Maret 2019. Selama melakukan PKL penulis melakukan beberapa wawancara dengan staf Kementrian Luar Negeri mengenai tahapan manajemen acara Dialog Lintas Agama profil Kementrian Luar Negeri dan profil Direktorat Diplomasi Publik, membaca beberapa buku dan artikel dari internet sebagai studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kementrian Luar Negeri adalah kementerian di dalam pemerintahan Indonesia yang bertanggung jawab atas urusan dan kebijakan Luar Negeri. Dalam melaksanakan tugasnya membantu presiden, Kementerian Luar Negeri mempunyai beberapa program kerja sesuai bidang dan direktorat. Salah satu program kerja Kementerian Luar Negeri ialah Dialog Lintas Agama. Dialog Lintas Agama diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Diplomasi Publik, subdivisi Sosial Budaya. Terdapat 3 langkah dalam manajemen acara dialog lintas agama Indonesia dengan Australia. Pertama, planning yaitu tahap dimana panitia mempersiapkan hal yang dibutuhkan saat acara berlangsung, antara lain substansi, administrasi, dan korespondensi. Kedua yaitu implementasi. Di tahap implementasi panitia melakukan tugas dan kewajiban masing-masing menurut tugasnya dan membantu divisi lain. Terakhir, evaluation. Ditahap yang terakhir, panitia melakukan evaluasi pada setiap agenda yang ada disusunan acara. Hal itu dilakukan karena untuk meningkatkan mutu jika menggelar acara yang sama. Saat evaluasi berlangsung, panitia mencatat kekurangan dalam pelaksanaan acara Dialog Lintas Agama sebagai masukan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan serupa pada tahun berikutnya.

This study aims to discuss the profile of Directorate General of Information and Public Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and to explain the event management of Indonesia-Australia Interfaith Dialogue 2019 held by Directorate of Public Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Bandung on 13th- 14th March 2019. The method that the writer used is a qualitative method. This method is used by doing a direct observation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Republic of Indonesia, which is the place that the writer did an internship from 16th January to 22nd March 2019. Afterward, the writer interviewed some staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Republic of Indonesia about the profile of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Republic of Indonesia and event management of Interfaith Dialogue. The writer also did a library study to find the data about Interfaith Dialogue to strengthen and find out more the explanation for this graduating paper. The results of this study indicate that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a ministry within the Indonesian government responsible for Foreign affairs and policies. In carrying out its duties to help the president, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has several work programs by the field and directorate. One of its work programs is Interfaith Dialogue. The Interfaith Dialogue was organized by the Directorate of Public Diplomacy, Social-culture subdivision. There are 3 steps in the event management of Interfaith Dialogue with Australia. First, Preparation is the stage where it prepares what is needed during the event, consisting of substance, administration, and correspondences. Second is Implementation. In the production stage, the committee performs its duties and obligations according to their duties and assists other divisions. The final step is Evaluation. At the last stage, the committee evaluates each agenda in a rundown. When the evaluation, the committee noted the shortcomings so that the event can be managed better in the following year.
