Hubungan Pengetahuan tentang Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR) dengan Persepsi Guru tentang Penerapan KTR di SMP Swasta Kabupaten Sleman

Di Kabupaten Sleman, KTR diatur dalam Peraturan Bupati Nomor 42 tahun 2012 tentang KTR. Sekolah menengah pertama (SMP) termasuk area KTR yang juga diatur dalam Peraturan Mendikbud Nomor 64 tahun 2015 tentang KTR di lingkungan sekolah. Namun, kenyataannya menurut beberapa penelitian masih ditemukannya guru merokok di sekolah. Padahal guru sebagai warga sekolah dianggap memiliki pengetahuan memadai sehingga dapat memberikan persepsi penerapan KTR yang baik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menguji hubungan antara pengetahuan KTR dengan persepsi penerapan KTR. Tujuan: Mengetahui adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan KTR dengan persepsi guru tentang penerapan KTR di SMP Swasta Kabupaten Sleman. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan rancangan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan multistage random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dengan skala guttman untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan persepsi penerapan KTR serta kuesioner telah valid dan reliabel. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-September 2019. Hasil: Responden dengan pengetahuan sedang hingga tinggi sebanyak 206 guru (89,2%) dan persepsi baik sebanyak 134 guru (58,0%). Uji hubungan Chi-square menunjukkan nilai p=0,295 dengan derajat kepercayaan 95% (alfa=0,05) berarti tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan KTR dengan persepsi guru tentang penerapan KTR di SMP Swasta Kabupaten Sleman. Kesimpulan: Guru sebaiknya terus meningkatkan pengetahuan, setiap sekolah dapat mengembangkan penerapan KTR, Dinas pendidikan melakukan pengawasan dan pembinaan mengenai KTR secara teratur, serta peneliti selanjutnya dapat lebih menggali literatur dan melakukan pendampingan pengisian kuisioner.
Background: Efforts to control smoking behavior are carried out with the Kawasan Tanpa Rokok (KTR) policy. In Sleman Regency, KTR is regulated in Regent Regulation No. 42 of 2012 concerning KTR. Junior High School (JHS) includes in KTR area which is also regulated in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 64 of 2015 concerning KTR in the school environment. However, according to several studies, in reality there are smoking teacher at school. Whereas, teachers as school members are considered to have adequate knowledge so that they can provide good KTR implementation perceptions. Therefore, this study examines the relationship between KTR knowledge and perceptions of KTR implementation. Objective: To find out the relationship between KTR knowledge and teachers' perceptions about the implementation of KTR in Sleman Regency Private Junior High School. Method: This quantitative study uses a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique uses multistage random sampling. The research instrument was a guttman scale questionnaire to measure knowledge and perceptions about KTR implementation and questionnaire was valid and reliable. Univariate data analysis was performed on respondents' demographic data, level of knowledge and perceptions of KTR implementation. Bivariate analysis using chi-square was performed on the relationship of KTR knowledge with the perception KTR implementation. This study was conducted in March-September 2019. Results: Respondents with moderate to high knowledge were 206 teachers (89.2%) and good perception were 134 teachers (58.0%). Chi-square relationship test shows the value of p=0.295 with a degree of confidence of 95% (alfa=0.05) so there is no relationship between teacher's knowledge and perceptions about KTR implementation in Private JHS Sleman Regency. Conclusion: Teachers should continue to improve their knowledge, each school can develop the implementation of KTR, the Education Office conducts regular supervision and guidance on KTR, and researchers can further explore the literature and assist in filling out the questionnaire.
