Pola Interaksi Ibu yang Bekerja Dengan Anak Autis : Studi Kasus

Relasi positif dari ibu dan dukungan lingkungan sekitar anak sangat dibutuhkan untuk memberikan stimulasi yang memadai bagi anak untuk berkembang, terlebih bagi anak dengan kebutuhan khusus. Salah satunya bentuk hubungan yang positif adalah hubungan yang bersifat timbal balik, bertahan dalam waktu yang cukup lama dan cenderung memberikan rasa aman. Peran dan sikap ibu sangat penting dalam proses interaksi dan pengasuhan yang baik kepada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antara ibu dengan anak autisme. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah tiga orang ibu yang bekerja secara penuh dan memiliki anak dengan autisme. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara pada responden dan significant others. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pola hubungan ibu dan anak yang berkebutuhan khusus terdiri dari tiga kasus. Ketiga pola menunjukkan sikap ibu sangat mempengaruhi pola relasi dan perkembangan anak. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa interaksi yang terjadi berguna bagi ibu untuk membangun relasi dan dukungan untuk anak, sehingga anak mampu mempersiapkan diri dalam masa perkembangannya.

For a child to develop, a positive relationship from the mother and support from the child�¢ï¿½ï¿½s surrounding environment is required to provide adequate stimulation. This is especially important for children with special needs. One form of positive relationship is a relationship that has reciprocity, lasts for quite a long time, and tends to provide security. The role and attitude of the mother is very important in the process of interacting with the child and good parenting. The aim of this research is to find out the interaction between a mother and her child with autism. There are three respondents in this research, who are mothers working full-time and each has a child with autism. The method used in this research was case study. Data was collected through interviews with the respondents and significant others. The results show that the relationship pattern between the mothers and children with special needs consists of three cases.The three patterns show that the mother�¢ï¿½ï¿½s attitude strongly influences the child�¢ï¿½ï¿½s relationship pattern and development. The result shows that the interaction that happens is useful for the mother in building a relationship and supporting the child so that the child can prepare his or her self in the developmental phases.
