PERSEPSI IKLIM KESELAMATAN DAN HUBUNGANNYA DENGAN SAFETY BEHAVIOR DI INDUSTRI BETON PRACETAK

PT.X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang industri beton pracetak yang menghasilkan produk utama berupa tiang pancang, corrugated sheet piles, I Girders, dan sheet piles. Perusahaan ini termasuk ke dalam perusahaan besar dengan risiko tinggi terhadap kecelakaan kerja. Perusahaan mempunyai target zero accident, tetapi pada kenyataannya target ini tidak pernah tercapai. Resiko bahaya paling sering terjadi pada saat stressing yaitu proses penarikan sling setelah pengecoran. Potensi bahaya tersebut dapat berasal dari alat atau mesin kerja, lingkungan tempat kerja bahkan perilaku tenaga kerja yang kurang aman. Hampir setiap hari ada karyawan yang mengalami kecelakaan kerja, terlebih lagi hampir 80% karyawan tidak menggunakan Alat Pelindung Diri (APD) dalam bekerja walaupun perusahaan sudah menyediakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi safety climate dengan safety behavior, serta mengetahui faktor safety climate yang paling kuat pengaruhnya terhadap safety behavior pada karyawan PT.X. Hubungan antara safety climate dan safety behavior diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan dua jenis kuesioner, yaitu kuesioner safety climate NOSACQ-50 yang terdiri dari tujuh dimensi dan kuesioner safety behavior. Kuesioner disebarkan kepada 84 responden dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara simultan safety climate mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap safety behavior sebesar 69,8%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara ketujuh variabel independent secara bersama dengan variabel dependent kuat. Variabel yang paling kuat pengaruhnya terhadap safety behavior adalah variabel komitmen pekerja terhadap keselamatan kerja dan variabel keadilan manajemen keselamatan kerja

PT.X is a company engaged in the precast concrete industry which produces main products in the form of piles, corrugated sheet piles, I Girders, and sheet piles. This company is included in a large company with a high risk of work accidents. The company has a zero accident target, but in reality this target has never been achieved. The risk of danger most often occurs during stressing is the process of withdrawing slings after casting. These potential hazards can come from work tools or machines, workplace environments and even unsafe workforce behavior. Almost every day there are employees who have work accidents, moreover almost 80% of employees do not use personal protective equipment at work even though the company has provided it. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of climate safety with safety behavior, as well as to know the climate safety factors that have the strongest influence on safety behavior on PT.X employees. The relationship between safety climate and safety behavior is obtained by using multiple linear regression methods. This type of research is quantitative research with survey methods. Data were collected by distributing two types of questionnaires, namely the NOSACQ-50 climate safety questionnaire consisting of seven dimensions and the safety behavior questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed to 84 respondents using the Purposive Sampling method. The results showed that simultaneously safety climate had a significant effect on safety behavior by 69.8%. This shows that the relationship between the seven independent variables together with the strong dependent variable. The most influential variable on safety behavior is the variable of employee commitment to work safety and the fairness of work safety management.
