SKALA KESUKSESAN KARIER AWAL ALUMNI: MODIFIKASI UNIVERSITY-TO-WORK SUCCESS SCALE (UWSS)

2019 | Tesis | MAGISTER PSIKOLOGIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan modifikasi terhadap university-to-work success scale (UWSS) agar menghasilkan skala kesuksesan karier awal alumni yang memiliki properti psikometris yang baik. Skala kesuksesan karier awal alumni dihasilkan dari konstrak UWSS yang terdiri atas delapan dimensi dengan keseluruhan aitem sebanyak 80 aitem. Pengujian skala kesuksesan karier awal alumni meliputi uji validitas isi, daya beda aitem, reliabilitas, validitas konstrak dan validitas konkuren. Sumber data merupakan skor hasil pengisian skala kesuksesan karier awal alumni yang dikerjakan oleh alumni program sarjana UGM yang lulus tahun 2014-2017 sebanyak 101 subjek. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa indeks validitas isi terendah sebesar 0,75 dan tertinggi sebesar 1. Indeks daya beda aitem berkisar pada 0,415 sampai 0,769. Koefisien reliabilitas setiap dimensi berkisar pada 0,824 sampai 0,922 dengan standard error of measurement berkisar pada 1,382 sampai 2,534. Koefisien validitas konkuren sebesar 0,599, artinya ada korelasi antara skor skala kesuksesan karier awal alumni dan skor skala occupational self-efficacy. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah diujikan kepada 101 responden, telah dihasilkan skala kesuksesan karier awal alumni yang baik untuk digunakan sebagai instrumen pengukuran kesuksesan karier awal alumni.
This study aims to modify the university-to-work success scale (UWSS) in order to produce an early career success scale of the alumni who have good psychometric properties. The alumni's early career success scale results from the UWSS construct which consists of eight dimensions with a total of 80 items. The testing on the alumni's early career success scale includes several tests of content validity, item difference power, reliability, construct validity, and concurrent validity. The data source is a score of the results of filling the scale of alumni's early career success done by the bachelor degree alumni of UGM who graduated in 2014-2017 as many as 101 subjects. The data analysis uses SPSS. The results of the analysis show that the lowest content validity index is 0.75 and the highest one is 1. The index of item difference power ranges from 0.415 to 0.769. The reliability coefficient for each dimension ranges from 0.824 to 0.922 with a standard error of measurement ranging from 1.382 to 2.534. The concurrent validity coefficient is 0.599, which means that there is a correlation between the scores of the alumni's early career success scale and the occupational self-efficacy. Based on the results of the study that have been tested on 101 respondents, a good alumni's early career success scale has been produced to be used as an instrument in measuring the alumni's early career success.
