HUBUNGAN KARAKTERISTIK PETERNAK DENGAN PENERAPAN TEKNOLOGI INTENSIFIKASI AYAM BURAS DI DESA SIDOMULYO, KECAMATAN PERGASIH, KABUPATEN KULON PROGO

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pendugaan hubungan karakteristik peternak secara simultan dengan penerapan teknologi INTAB. Penelitian ini berupa studi kasus di kelornpok ternak ayarn buras "Cindelaras”, Desa sidomulyo, Kecamatan Pengasih, Kabupaten Kulon Progo. Responden penelitian adalah sernua peternak ayarn buras di kelornpok peternak ayam buras "Cindeiaras" yang memiliki dan memelihara ayam buras. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara langsung dengan berpedoman pada kuesionerf dianalisis dengan. analisis korelasi Pearson dan regresi tinier berganda. uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa peubah umur, status sosial (P<0,01), jumlah pemeliharaan ternak dan pendidikan formal (P<0,05) memiliki hubungan yang nyata dengan pene.rapan teknologi Intensifikasi Ayam Buras. Secara simultan variabel yang mempunyai pengaruh nyata adalah umur (P<0,10),tingkat kekosmopolitan (P<0,05) dan status sosial (P<0,01). Model persamaan hubungan antara penerapan teknologi INTAB dengan umur (Xi), tingkat kekosmopolitan (Xs), status sosial (Xe) adalah Y = 34,828 - 0,125Xi - 1,285X5+ 2,722X6 dengan R2 = 0,538. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah secara simultan variabel umur, tingkat kekosmopolitan dan status sosial mempunyai hubungan nyata dengan penerapan teknologi INTAB. The aim of this research was to find out the simultaneous relationship estimation between the native chicken farmers characteristics and the technology application of the native chicken intensification program. This research was a case study in "Cindelaras" native chicken farmers group, village of Sidomulyo, district of Pengasih, Regency of Kulon Progo. The respondents were all of the farmers who had and kept their native chicken in native chicken farmers group. The data were collected by the observation and interview using well prepared questionnaires analyzed by using Pearson Correlation and multiple linear regression and stepwise regression analysis. The correlation analysis showed that age, social status (PC0.01), the number of native chicken raising and formal education (P<0.05) had significant effects to the technology application of the native chicken intensification program.
