EVALUASI WASTE MATERIAL PADA PROYEK PEMBANGUNAN GEDUNG THE ALTON APARTMENT SEMARANG

Dampak negatif yang timbul dari pembangunan sebuah konstruksi yaitu limbah material hasil pekerjaan. Limbah material merupakan bahan yang sudah tidak terpakai untuk proyek tersebut. Pada dasarnya limbah material dapat menjadi hal yang merugikan bagi proses pembangunan konstruksi, karena bila tidak dikelola dengan baik maka banyak biaya konstruksi yang terbuang. Penggunaan material secara optimal diharapkan dapat meminimalisir limbah material yang terbentuk. Analisa dan evaluasi limbah material ini dilakukan pada proyek pembangunan apartemen The Alton. Apartemen ini memiliki jumlah kamar yang banyak dengan luas bangunan yang besar sehingga pemakaian material yang banyak menimbulkan limbah material yang tinggi. Evaluasi limbah material yang akan dilakukan meliputi kegiatan menghitung volume pekerjaan yang disinyalir menimbulkan limbah yang tinggi yaitu limbah tulangan, lalu diikuti dengan perhitungan volume limbah, level limbah (waste level), dan kerugian biaya akibat limbah (waste cost) tersebut. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan volume limbah tulangan pada pekerjaan pile cap yaitu 1.806,646 kg dengan kerugian biaya akibat limbah tulangan dari pekerjaan pile cap pada proyek pembanguan apartmen The Alton sebesar Rp 10.117.215,00. Hal ini disebabkan oleh faktor manusia dan manajemen material. Limbah material yang terjadi dilapangan dapat diminimalisir dengan melakukan penerapan waste hierarchy, berupa reuse, reduce, recycle, dan disposal.

The negative impact that arises from the construction of a construction is work material waste. Material waste is material that has not been used for the project. Basically, material waste can be detrimental to the construction process, because if it is not managed properly, a lot of construction costs will be wasted. The optimal use of material is expected to minimize the waste material formed. Analysis and evaluation of material waste was carried out on the Alton apartment building project. This apartment has a large number of rooms with a large building area so that the use of materials that cause a lot of high material waste. Evaluation of material waste that will be carried out includes the activity of calculating the volume of work which is alleged to cause high waste, namely reinforcement waste, then followed by calculation of waste volume, waste level, and cost loss due to the waste cost. From the results of the study it was found that the volume of reinforcement waste in the pile cap work was 1,806,646 kg with cost losses due to reinforcement waste from the pile cap work in The Alton apartment development project amounting to Rp 10,117,215.00. This is caused by human factors and material management. Material waste that occurs in the field can be minimized by implementing waste hierarchy, in the form of reuse, reduce, recycle, and disposal.
