Pardedetex Sang Pionir Sepakbola Profesional di Indonesia 1960-1984

Pardedetex merupakan salah satu tim sepakbola pertama di Indonesia yang sudah bersifat secara profesional. Profesional dalam artian Pardedetex sudah mampu berdiri secara mandiri terutama dalam hal finansial tanpa bergantung dari pemerintah daerah. Pardedetex juga menjadi tim pemantik munculnya klub-klub sepakbola profesional yang didirikan oleh para pengusaha termuka dimasa itu, dan Pardedetex juga menjadi salah satu tim perintis munculnya kompetisi sepakbola profesional di Indonesia bernama Galatama. Setelah menentukan tema, penelitian dilanjutkan dengan mencari sumber primer dan sekunder sebagai bahan untuk membuat rekonstruksi peristiwa. Catatan mengenai Pardedetex didapatkan melalui koran, dan majalah olahraga sezaman dan didukung dengan wawancara mantan pemain dan pengurus Pardedetex. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan disimpulkan bahwa selama Pardedetex berkiprah dikompetisi sepakbola Indonesia Galatama, Pardedetex tak pernah sekalipun menjadi juara walaupun mereka diperkuat oleh pemain-pemain yang sudah berlabel bintang pada masa itu. Prestasi terbaik Pardedetex dikompetisi Galatama terjadi pada musim 1982-1983 yang mana pada saat itu Pardedetex nyaris menjadi juara. Memasuki tahun 1984 Pardedetex resmi mengundurkan diri dari kompetisi Galatama dengan kata lain bubar. Penyebab utama bubarnya Pardedetex adalah berkaitan dengan masalah kesehatan anak T.D.Pardede yakni Johnny Pardede.

Pardedetex is the first professional football club in the history of Indonesian football. The context of professional football club is that it has independent financial sources without being dependent on the local government. Pardedetex also became the pioneer of professional Indonesian football club founded by the most prominent businessmen of the time, and it also became one of the pioneering football clubs in the founding of the first professional football competitions in Indonesia called Galatama. After determining the theme, the research was continued by finding primary and secondary sources as materials in order to make events reconstruction. Records regarding Pardedetex were obtained through contemporary newspapers, sports magazines, and supported by interview with formers players and former officials of Pardedetex. From the research that has been carried out, it has been concluded that as long as Pardedetex takes part in the Galatama Indonesian football competition, Pardedetex had never been a champion even though they were strengthened by players who had been labeled “stars” at that time. Pardedetex's best achievement in the Galatama competition occurred in the 1982-1983 season, at which time Pardedetex almost won. Entering 1984, Pardedetex officially resigned from the Galatama competition. The main cause of the dissolution of Pardedetex was related to the health problems of children T.D. Pardede namely Johnny Pardede.
