Pemaknaan Filantropi Sosial UKM LDK Jama'ah Shalahuddin UGM

Filantropi yang berkembang dengan kekuatan civil society tidak terlepas dari upaya netral yang dibawanya. Merujuk pada hasil kajian yang dilakukan oleh Setara institute, disebutkan bahwa masjid kampus yang menjadi induk kegiatan mahasiswa yang memiliki corak gerak keagamaan menjadi tempat berkembangnya radikalisme. Maraknya pemberitaan dari media mainstream yang mem-framing bahwa masjid kampus di UGM terpapar radikalisme menimbulkan opini yang kurang tepat terhadap independensi program filantropi yang dilaksanakan oleh LDK JS UGM. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori Praktik Sosial yang dicetuskan oleh Pierre Bourdieu. Teori ini memiliki tiga konsep utama, yaitu habitus, modal, dan ranah atau field. Peneliti menganggap teori ini mampu untuk melihat makna dari program filantropi UKM LDK Jama’ah Shalahuddin UGM dengan menggali potensi sumberdaya dan kontentasi aktor. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengkaji makna program filantropi yang dilaksanakan oleh LDK JS UGM. Peneliti menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif naratif untuk membedah makna yang berkaitan dengan kontestasi aktor program filantropi yang dilaksanakan oleh LDK JS UGM berdasarkan teori praktik sosial yang dicetuskan Bourdieu. Tehnik penentuan informan yaitu menggunakan purposive sampling. Informan yang dipilih adalah pihak yang terlibat langsung dengan objek penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan filantropi sosial LDK UKM JS UGM merupakan aktivitas dalam perebutan arena dakwah menangkal kristenisasi. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan dalam bentuk pendidikan dan pembinaan. guna memelihara keberlangsungan sumber daya dakwah, LDK JS UGM menerapkan strategi konservasi dengan pengkaderan yang sistematis melalui pemberian beasiswa bagi siswa SMA yang potensial secara akademik tetapi kurang mampu secara finansial.

Philanthropy that develops with the power of civil society is inseparable from the neutral efforts it carries. Referring to the results of a study conducted by the Setara institute, it was stated that the campus mosque which is the main activity of students who has a religious movement style becomes a place for developing radicalism. The rise of news from the mainstream media that framing that campus mosques at UGM exposed to radicalism gave rise to inappropriate opinions on the independence of philanthropic programs carried out by the LDK JS UGM. The theory used is the theory of Social Practice which was coined by Pierre Bourdieu. This theory has three main concepts, namely habitus, capital, and domain or field. The researcher considers this theory able to see the meaning of the UGM LDK Jama'ah Shalahuddin SME philanthropic program by exploring the potential of the resource and the actor's concentration. This research was conducted with the aim of examining the meaning of philanthropic programs carried out by the LDK JS UGM. The researcher used qualitative methods with a descriptive narrative approach to dissect the meanings related to the contestation of philanthropic program actors carried out by the LDK JS UGM based on the theory of social practice initiated by Bourdieu. The technique of determining informants is using purposive sampling. The selected informants are those directly involved with the object of research. The results of the analysis show that the LDK social philanthropy activities of the UKM UGM UGM are activities in the struggle for the da'wah arena to counter Christianization. The activity was carried out in the form of education and coaching. in order to maintain the sustainability of da'wah resources, LDK JS UGM implements a conservation strategy with systematic cadre through providing scholarships for potential high school students academically but financially disadvantaged.
