Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh campuran oktan booster (hot pill) terhadap Daya dan Torsi sepeda motor Honda sonic 150 R. Bahan bakar standar pertamax dan bahan bakar ditambah zat aditif (hot pill). Analisa data dengan menggunakan deskriptif dapat disimpulkan bahwa secara pengukuran daya dan torsi pada bahan bakar di tambah zat aditif lebih besar dari pada bahan bakar standart. Dengan penambahan aditif akan menaikan angka oktane bahan bakar sehingga terjadi pembakaran yang lebih sempurna. Pembakaran yang sempurna menghasilkan daya dan torsi yang lebih besar. Metode yang digunakan dengan eksperimental, mengukur daya dan torsi dengan variasi bahan bakar yang digunakan.Untuk putaran mesin yang digunakan pada pengukuran sampai 10.000 rpm. Dilakukan dengan 3 kali pengukuran kemudian dipakai data yang terbaik. Hasil dari pengukuran pada pengggunaan zat aditif Hot Pill Daya terbesar adalah 15.08 Hp pada putaran 8000 rpm dan terjadi pada Torsi terbesar adalah 14.44 Hp pada putaran 7500 rpm. Sedangkan pada mesin dengan bahan bakar STD Daya terbesar adalah 15.08 Hp pada putaran 8500 rpm dan terjadi pada Torsi terbesar adalah 13.19 Hp pada putaran 8500 rpm.

The purpose of this study was to find out how much influence the mixture of octane booster (hot pill) on the power and torque of Honda sonic 150 R motorcycles. Standard fuel pertamax and fuel plus additives (hot pill). Analysis of data using descriptive can be concluded that the measurement of power and torque on fuel plus additives greater than standard fuels. with the addition of additives will increase the octane number of the fuel so that more perfect combustion occurs. With perfect combustion produces greater power and torque. The method used with experimental, measures power and torque with variations in the fuel used. For engine speed used in measurements up to 10,000 rpm. Performed with 3 measurements then the best data is used. The results of the measurements on the use of the biggest Hot Pill additives are 15.08 hp at 8000 rpm and occur at the largest torque is 14.44 hp at 7500 rpm. While the engine with the highest STD fuel power is 15.08 hp at 8500 rpm and occurs at the largest torque is 13.19 hp at 8500 rpm.
