KINERJA INDUK SAPI PERANAKAN ONGOLE DI KECAMATAN AMBAL DAN AYAH, KABUPATEN KEBUMEN JAWA TENGAH

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja induk sapi Peranakan Ongole (PO) di Kecamatan Ambal dan Ayah Kabupaten Kebumen Jawa Tengah, sejak bulan November 2003 sampai Mei 2004. Sebanyak 22 ekor induk sapi PO kondisi bunting tua di Kecamatan Ambal dan 15 ekor di Kecamatan Ayah digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian. Paramater yang diamati meliputi berat induk,, lama bunting, interval kelahiran/ service per conception (s/c) berat lahir pedet, berat sapih, dan konsumsi pakan induk. Dari penelitian di Kecamatan Ambal & Kecamatan Ayah berturutturut diperoleh berat induk 310,73119,22 kg & 315,93116,46 kg ; lama bunting 28211,99 hari & 28413,45 hari ; interval kelahiran 14,2310,73 bulan & 14,210,98 bulan ; s/c sebesar 2,1410,69 & 2,2610,93 ; berat lahir pedet 27,312,46 kg & 28,1511,88 kg ; berat sapih 99,0517,31 kg & 102,6517,11 kg ; konsumsi per hari bahan kering (BK) 9,0011,32 kg & 9,2811,03 kg ; protein kasar (PK) 0,6210,09 kg & 0,7010,06 kg ; Total Digestible Nutrient (TDN) 2,14 kg & 1,88 kg. Interval kelahiran, S/C, berat lahir, dan berat sapih di Kecamatan Ambal dan Ayah sudah baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kinerja induk sapi PO di Kecamatan Ambal dan Ayah Kabupaten Kebumen, Jawa Tengah sudah baik. Kata kunci : Kinerja Induk, Induk PO, Kecamatan Ambal, Kecamatan Ayah.

This research was conducted to study performance of Ongole Crossbred Cows in Ambal and Ayah Subdistrict Kebumen Regency Central of Java, since November 2003 until May 2004. There were 22 pregnant Ongole Crossbred cows in Subdistrict Ambal and 15 pregnant Ongole Crossbred cows in Subdistrict Ayah as the samples. The parameters that observe were cow body weight, pregnancy periods, calving interval, service per conception (S/C) , birth weight, weaning weight, and cow intake consumtion. From the research in Subdistrict Ambal and Ayah got cow body weight 310,73+19,22 kg & 315,93+16,46 kg ; pregnancy periods 282+1,99 days & 284+3,45 days ; calving interval 14,23+0,73 months & 14,2+0,98 months ; S/C 2,14+0,69 & 2,26+0,93 ; birth weight 27,3+2,46 kg & 28,15+1,88 kg ; weaning weight 99,05+7,31 kg & 102,65+7,11 kg ; one days dry matter consumtion (DM) 9,00+1,32 kg & 9,28+1,03 kg ; crude protein (CP) 0,62+0,09 kg & 0.70+0,06 kg ; Total Digestible Nutrient (TDN) 2,14 kg & 1,88 kg. Calving interval, S/C, birth weight, and weaning weight in Ambal and Ayah Subdistrict is good. The conclusion is the performance of Ongole Crossbred cows in Ambal and Ayah Subdistrict, Kebumen Regency Central Of Java is good.
